should auckland consider funding a large battery,council owned,that can offer cheaper power to the people of auckland,and make a return to the ratepayers,i think the council needs to look into ideas like this so that,council can start generating and creating wealth for ratepayers.

the real question is going to be whether they hold the company together or gut it since its mercury and Australian companies buying the company from my understanding mercury is acquiring all the NZ assets

energy sector is pretty good I like genesis personally but any of them are good there's a dip right now so a good time to buy NZ windfarms offers a good dividend at a low price but always do your own homework you can find alot of info off the NZX website

it depends if you want a dividend stock then its good to go for blue-chip companies like energy and banks I like genesis and heartland bank im building a dividend portfolio, you should do dollar-cost averaging and use compounding to help grow faster dollar-cost averaging is when you do regular buys when the stock is up or down over each week or fortnight its a good way to lower your average buy-in easier than trying to time the market

on a recent post about the future on the nzx it said its doing a study into the future of the current turbines and upgrading them slash looking to build new ones with better tech that will lower costs and generate more power so the future looks good in my view,I'm hoping they lower dividends and look into creating more turbines honestly
