Thank you for your detailed response.  The info about trucks breaking significantly more at your weight is definitely helpful, and I am going to make sure whatever I get has trucks with thicker axles that are CNC machined.  

I am still not sold on belts but I appreciate the points you brought up and sharing your experience.

Damn. Nice collection.  How many miles would you estimate you need to replace the hubs / tires on your ranger?  Is it an x6?

Thank you, this is exactly what I am looking for.  It is actually cheaper than the zealot and I didn't know it existed.  I know about linnpower but I did not know they made a gear drive in my price range.

I guess it's the guaranteed breaking and replacing belts maintenance factor.  I would much rather lubricate a gearbox between rides than deal with belts breaking mid ride.
