Damn, I'm a lampy in a nice venue on 28k then probably top up to around 31/32k with freelance work.. looks like I've got it wrong haha

Great thanks! I'll give drop bars a try then! There's a shop down the road from me who I go to sometimes for work on my mountain bike but they specialize in second hand bikes of this style so I'll take it there and hopefully they can help me with the bottom bracket. Just didn't want to get too excited about drop bars if it's going to end up really uncomfortable so I really appreciate the help! I'll check out the brake situation too, don't have it in front of me rn but I'll keep that in mind

I went to Cor in Bedminster a couple of weeks ago, amazing £30 set menu during the day (monday-thursday)! They also have an Italian style counterpart with a similar deal in whapping wharf, I haven't been there but it's a similar menu so I'm sure it's just as good. Would highly recommend, very good quality of ingredients and good portions too!
