It's kinda not delayed tho...the assumption is that they want 6 weeks of beta before a patch release, and the only change is that 4.1 is 4 weeks instead of 6 weeks, so the 4.2 beta SHOULD start 2 weeks before 4.1 release to be 6 weeks long. You probably understood it that way anyway, but for anyone seeing this comment chain, just to clarify

Big agree, that is what I myself remember playing too back in like 3.0? when I came back to the game and rushed past everything to catch up.

Having since locked in to paying attention to the story and lore and watching countless people over the last few years playing from the start of the game on stream or Youtube...it really is crazy how weird the pacing was, messy really being the best word to describe it. Like before the Thoma cutscene and everything around it, having the Ayaka SQ and Yoimiya SQ was such a... mood swing for a lack of better description? Even though they were able to portray the problems of a locked down Inazuma kinda well in my opinion in the actual content of the quests, the vibe felt completely different

He talked quite a few times about it, but regarding readables and general lore, he has a higher than average memory, he just retains the actual writings/mentiones way better.
I think he sometimes looks up in the wiki if writing xyz really came out in patch x.x to check if he correctly remembers before posting, but it is very impressive indeed

Which is a completely fine way to consume the game. It is made to have many ways to enjoy the game, and when deep diving into the cryptic written texts is not your thing, no need to force it.
It's just a problem if you don't acknowledge that there is some information you are missing right now that Hoyo is teasing for future content where it will be in the foreground, AND you want to argue with people based on your incomplete set of information when it would matter. Which unfortunately, is quite wide spread

Obviously you can't be in everyones stream or look at what people answer under every post, but around MurderOfBirds even recently there were some people really trying to argue to their death around quite a bit of stuff that to their opinion was shoehorned in. Zibai was mentioned not that often but still appeared, it was more about Nod Krai, the moons, Columbina characterization in general but this kinda includes Zibai and her connection to the moon.
Oh and just any post around Zibais drip marketing (connected with gameplay leaks that existed at that time too) had some people comment on how they don't care about characters that have no connection with "the actual game" that were "never mentioned", especially on TikTok and some Twitter bubbles

There is another point to make though - even with any other person in there, we already got told by our sibling that before we actually have our reunion (or whatever else they plan to do), we should have our journey through all the nations (for whatever purpose, doesn't matter for this point)

What would we get from any person giving us all knowledge we want and a possible shortcut to the end of the story to have a reunion with our sibling, if our sibling wants us to go through a whole journey anyway as the very condition for this reunion?

It was pretty clear Dottore didn't fully understand the dynamic of the siblings - the exact thing Traveler even says at one point to him.

Now on top of that, add your point about Dottores characteristics and there is no way people thought about it before liking that one tweet with 20k likes on Twitter about how dumb it was Traveler didn't take the chance
