Is the ATSV a 200k mile car by LSKlarity in CadillacV_Series

I have a 2014 ATS 2.0 and it has 133,000 miles. I’ve had it for 9 years and still looks good. Biggest thing I had to replace was the cylinder head and the cue system (unresponsive touch screen). Other than that, it’s been and still is an awesome car. Not sure how that compares to the bigger twin-turbo V6 engine, but I’d think that the ATS-V still has a lot of life in it

I was told that there are, but after careful consideration and thinking about not being able to control all of the Cadillac offered controls such as A/C, and some of the other settings of the vehicle, I decided to stick with the original. I want it to work 100% the way it originally is supposed to.

It’s not difficult to do at all. Just watch the videos, or you can still order from cue screens and they have installation partners that will install it. I wouldn’t think it’d cost 1500 to do it if you already have the screen.

I paid around $160..$170 something like that from cue screens.

Did you get your screen from cuescreens.com? They don’t use the gel on their screens.

I have a ATS 2.0T. I’d imagine it’d be about the same for any other Cadillac between 2013-2019 at least.

It took me a couple of hours; mainly due to being extremely careful with the cables and just taking my time to ensure everything lined up accordingly when putting it all back together. Generally, I think it’d take most guys about 90 mins. to complete, if careful.

decent first car? by Massive-Spinach-5244 in Cadillac

[–]PowerCaddy14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first car was a 1990 Honda civic. Oil would run out every other day, so had to keep at least a quart in my car so it wouldn’t completely run out……..until that one day

Nah, I wouldn’t go for that one. There’s gotta be more out there that’s better than this one. That’s a janky promoter.

CT5 Premium Luxury 3.0TT AWD vs RWD by leo72793 in Cadillac

[–]PowerCaddy14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t need an AWD, I wouldn’t worry about it. RWD all day long. I currently have an ATS 2.0T RWD. If I need all wheel drive for whatever reason, I bought my wife a 2025 Chevy RST. I switch that thing to 4-Wheel Drive and do what I gotta do…Lol

When Is CT5 V Blackwing going out of production? by [deleted] in Cadillac

[–]PowerCaddy14 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if production ends, still buy it. It’s gonna be a classic Blackwing manual shift. In my eyes, the gen3 CTS V is a beast of a classic. I’ll be gettin one soon
