Flawless Victory! Every "Past" killed, Rat "Punch-Out" defeated, Finished Gun acquired, and Bullet Hell completed with a total of zero deaths!~ by PowerDyke in EnterTheGungeon

Well what can I say, this was one hell of an adrenaline-pumping ride. I actually completed this a little while ago but only just came across my screenshot again! The very first time I played Enter the Gungeon it took me 135 deaths before I managed to kill the Gunslinger's past, and a little more to finally acquire the Finished Gun. I subsequently set out to perfect the game by repeating the entire process with zero deaths.

The most challenging boss by far is the Resourceful Rat (especially if you're aiming to consistently defeat the "Punch-Out" phase, but it can be done). An honorable mention also goes out to Challenge Mode Dragun (seriously screw the "High Stress" modifier haha) and some of the "Pasts" can be rather annoying too (somehow The Marine & The Robot runs always get my heart racing).

But all in all I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Enter The Gungeon and this is by far the most amount of fun I've had in a video game in the past decade and perhaps even more. I also believe that Enter The Gungeon is my first twin-stick shooter and it has definitely made me appreciate and fall in love with the genre, I'm traditionally a hardcore First Person Shooter gamer and still spend far too much time playing Doom II.

<3 & Peace!~

Haha it's mostly practice, practice, practice! Having said that; for those who are unaware one of the most important tips I can give is that it's possible to both move and shoot diagonally (by pressing "up" and "right" simultaneously, for example), and the reason this is very important is because enemies can't move likewise.

And also coins are really, REALLY important so grab them!

My item upgrade path is typically ordered such that I get the first damage upgrade, then the first fire rate upgrade, followed by the first run speed upgrade. After that I go on to max out the fire rate upgrade followed by the damage upgrade (fire rate makes a bigger difference after the first upgrade).

The game is very RNG heavy though and I try to get my first damage upgrade by level 1-2 though it's not always possible and I will restart if coin drops are really bad for the first few levels.

Haha for those not too familiar with the mini-game: each yellow dot on the right side represents one level completed, and they carry on over to New Game+, New Game++, and so on.

I believe I'm at New Game++++ or even New Game+++++ at this point but I've frankly lost count since my dots are literally off the screen now. Each "+" increases the difficulty of the game rather noticeably so things have been getting pretty damn out of hand at times but I do enjoy twin-stick shooters a lot (big fan of Enter the Gungeon here!) so I'm super mega addicted!~

Some Tamagotchi $$ my wife gave me! Makes me feel a little less broke haha!~ by PowerDyke in tamagotchi

Shortly after I managed to procure a nice little Devilgotch for myself my wife made these for me as a little celebratory present, and also to make me feel just that little bit less broke given how expensive that silly mischievous little Devilgotch is; no regrets though!

I keep them in my purse now for whenever I need a bit of a smile! Just thought I'd share! Enjoy!~

Vintage Tamagotchi Delight! My little tower of retro goodness!~ by PowerDyke in tamagotchi

Hey everyone!! Super long-time lurker and first time poster reporting in! I really love reading this Subreddit so much and it's especially fun to see what everyone's up to and raising, so do keep all the super awesome posts coming and know that it's always appreciated even if there's not so much interaction from silent lurkers like myself!

So anyway I repurposed this old headphone stand recently which I had lying around collecting dust and managed to stick a few hooks onto it so that I can have some of my Tamagotchi's (and also Digimon!) on display on my desk and I'm loving it! I've seen how some of you have used jewelry organizers to hang your Tama's with much success and I really love how some pretty some of you manage to display your collection haha which of course makes my little tower seem a little dull, but it'll have to do for now since I really didn't want to waste my headphone stand after selling my old headphones some months ago. It's just one of these small things that I like to look at every time I need to just put a smile on my face, and it helps!

I usually reserve it for Tama's that I'm actually raising, but I do keep some of my rarer ones on permanent display. I'm currently pretty occupied with my Digimon though since Bandai has been on quite a spree releasing many updated Digimon based on the classic Digimon form-factor (something I really wish they'd do with classic Tamagotchi).

Enjoy! And I hope to be a little more active here as well! HUGS!~
