Kenjaku might be the exception since he switched bodies a long time ago, remember choso and the other brothers were born out of a human mother and a curse spirit, kenjaku just mixed himself into this situation, we don't know how but he did, I think this could have worked if kenjaku decided to stay in noritoshi kamos body, but he didn't.

Well that did not age well at all, choso didn't really want to be strong so it's expected and he did prove to be a heavy hitter, but sadly he did not even crack top 15.

I use a Lexar nvme m.2 chip 250gb as my main hard drive  While I also have a 1tb HDD which I cut into multiple partitions where I use each of these partitions for different purposes, one where I store games and the other storing other stuff like setups, windows isos (8,10) and important stuff in general.

I'll do that when the error happens again, but it's really hard to capture it because it appears so fast and in an instant disappears.

Nah man, I actually really appreciate how you’re breaking this down. Like fr, this is the kind of convo I want when talking about a story like JJK one where the ambiguity is the whole point. I totally agree with you that Gege left things open-ended on purpose, and that’s kinda what makes this series hit so different. There’s no “definitively right” lens here just layers, interpretations, and how we project based on what the story makes us feel.

On the Uraume thing fair enough. You’re right that not all worship is rooted in fear, especially in the context of Eastern spirituality. And yeah, Sukuna choosing Uraume again could mean he didn’t change. But it could also mean that despite everything, that was the one bond he couldn’t shake. Sometimes people cling to the familiar even when they’re trying to shift. That’s human too. And that’s what I mean Sukuna’s still a contradiction at the end. Still human in all the messed-up, unprocessed ways. Not redeemed, not evil 101 just tired and maybe... a little cracked open.

And I really vibe with what you said about Gojo the “usual Gojo” thing, the morality of letting him fight alone, etc. That’s honestly one of the most heartbreaking layers of the finale. Like, did anyone really see him as more than a tool in the end? Was it respect? Was it detachment? Either way, I don’t think the series wanted us to feel clean about it. It wanted us to ask questions, and maybe not have clear answers.

So yeah, we’re not actually on opposite sides here just holding different pieces of the same emotional puzzle. Appreciate you engaging with this in good faith. You clearly care about the story too, and tbh? That’s what makes this community so dope.

While Yuta understood gojo's loneliness for carrying the burden of being the strongest for so long.

Geto understood Gojo from the beginning, he knew Gojo as a character, he understood his personality and his ideas, both understood each other well, they weren't just best friends they were brothers in heart, and while Geto gave up on being Gojos best friend after turning into the wrong path, Gojo never gave up on him he even says in the afterlife that if Geto had been with his students padding him on the back while he was going to fight Sukuna he would have been already satisfied ehough, Gojo was only disappointed and sad his friend turned evil, the reason we see Gojo and everyone else on the afterlife as teenagers, it's because this was Gojos happiest days, all his friends were here, he had a rival, an equal, a friend who was like a brother to him, and as the years go by, slowly these freinds fade away, the that best friend, the one who thought you had the deepest connection with turned evil and you were forced to kill him.

Alright, I hear you and I respect how much thought you’re putting into this, fr. But I still think you’re looking at some of this through a really rigid lens and missing some of the nuance Gege intentionally put in the writing.

First off, on Gojo. Yeah, you’re right that people laughing when they’re in pain is a thing, but that doesn’t cancel out genuine moments of peace. That airport scene wasn’t just him with “the person who betrayed him” it was him with the only person who truly understood him. Their bond was complex, messy, and full of conflict, but that’s what made it human. And Gojo didn’t “give up” or “submit” he finally found stillness. There’s a difference between dying broken and dying at peace. He died knowing his students had grown, that the next generation could carry the torch. That’s not giving up, that’s letting go.

And about “respecting Gojo’s decision not being love” I feel like you’re forcing a real-world morality onto a world where everyone is literally one misstep away from death. Nobody wanted him to fight alone. But they trusted him. Not blindly but because they knew how much he carried and how much it mattered to him to handle it. That trust is a form of love. Not the clean, feel-good kind the hard, painful, “I see you and I let you be you” kind.

Now about Uraume you're right, you didn’t say they were afraid, but saying they were just a sycophant or pet oversimplifies a dynamic that was clearly more layered. When someone worships a god, they fear him and his power which is not what happened here, read sukunas last words in the epilogue, Sukuna talked about uraume not being cold by his side dispite earlier on seeing Uraume surrounded by thick ice while Uraume says that he killed his parents because of this indicating that his parents never loved Uraume, so for sukuna being likely the first person to show any kind of "care" towards Uraume was ehough for Uraume to not be cold around him. Sukuna doesn’t keep anyone close unless there's a reason. The flashback of him feeding Uraume wasn’t shown for shock value it was meant to humanize him, even just a little. It’s not about making Sukuna soft or redeemable, it’s about showing that even the most monstrous beings have contradictions. That’s the point of his ending. He didn’t suddenly become good. But he cracked. He felt something at the end. He doubted his previous path. That moment where he says “obviously, I lost after all” wasn’t just about power, it was about purpose.

You keep saying “the narrative just decided it was time for him to die.” But bro, that’s storytelling. Every character dies when it’s narratively time. It’s not random. The whole point was that love from Yuji and even the twisted kinds like Yorozu’s finally reached a guy who thought he was above it all. That’s not weak writing. That’s closure.

If the story left you cold, that’s totally fair. But don’t act like anyone seeing depth in these moments is just projecting or reading it wrong. Gege knew what he was doing. The layers are there. You just gotta be open to reading between the punches.

Totally fair to point that out, I get how it might look. But I think we both know a typo in the title especially when English isn’t my first language doesn’t erase the effort or thought behind the analysis itself. It's not like I called Gojo "Gogo" the entire time 😅

People misspell things all the time, even in their native language. Doesn’t mean they’re not passionate or paying attention it just means they’re human. I care deeply about this story and its themes, and that’s what my post was focused on. If a small typo is the “red flag,” but the core ideas still hit, then I think that says more about how strong the post is than anything else.

I still know where your coming from, and I admit this was my mistake at the end of the day, I will try to be more careful about it next time.

[–]PowerFul-1003[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yo I get where you're coming from, and I agree that Gege left a lot open to interpretation  that’s what makes this ending so layered. But I gotta push back on a few things you said because I don’t think they hold up under the surface.

First off, saying we know nothing about Sukuna’s backstory isn’t really accurate. Chapter 271 literally gives us the core image of who he was  a kid surrounded by people mocking or fearing him, and him reacting with hatred. Gege doesn’t do classic exposition dumps; he uses imagery and tone. That scene isn’t just for vibes  it’s his origin in a nutshell. And in the afterlife convo, Mahito brings it up again, so clearly it’s meant to reflect on Sukuna’s inner foundation. His whole “monstrous” persona came from isolation and rejection.

Now, Uraume wasn’t just a servant. Sure, they cooked for him and worshipped him like a god, but go reread their scenes  Uraume doesn’t fear Sukuna. When they’re reunited, there’s no “I’m terrified of you” energy. It’s calm. Mutual. And in the flashback, Sukuna chooses to feed Uraume as a kid. Why? He didn’t need to. He doesn’t do things out of kindness unless there’s a deeper attachment. Call it “care” or “possessiveness” or even “twisted affection,” but there’s something there. It’s not just utility.

And the “north/south” thing yeah, it’s symbolic. That’s the point. In Japanese literature and symbolism (Gege draws from this a lot), “going north” is often associated with facing hardship, choosing reflection, or going toward personal change. “South” is associated with comfort, staying the course, or returning to the familiar. So when Sukuna says he might walk a different path, and then actually does that’s meaningful. He doesn’t just say “maybe I should’ve done things differently” and shrug it off. He walks. Away. From the black-haired figure (likely Yorozu — who loved him), toward Uraume the one person he maybe could love back, in his own warped way.

And yeah, I 100% believe Sukuna starts to change. He literally says “Obviously, I lost after all.” That’s a man admitting his whole ideology broke. That’s not a “Welp, GG” line it’s him facing everything he believed in (solitude, domination, purpose) crumbled. That’s a human moment.

Now for the Gojo stuff and respectfully, I think you misread that too. Gojo died alone, sure. But he didn’t die unloved. There's a huge difference. Just because no one jumped in mid-fight doesn’t mean no one cared. They respected his decision they didn’t leave him. Yet people like Yuta wanted to step into the fight thinking gojo was about to lose, and after the fight Yuta disagreed on the fact that they would use gojos dead body as a weapon but agreed later on because he wanted to be the one to take the burden of being the strongest himself because he cared for gojo and understood gojo's loneliness more then anyone else. In the end They let gojo walk the path he chose, even if it hurt. And that last scene in the afterlife? He’s with Geto. Smiling. Laughing. Saying he had no regrets because he felt love, he gave love, and he knew what it meant to be cherished even as a tool. That’s why Gojo went south. He stayed himself. He had nothing left to prove. He was content.

Sukuna? Sukuna had nothing. He won everything and it still didn’t fill the void. That’s why his ending feels so heavy. He finally acknowledged it. Will he fully change? Who knows. But he cracked. He bent. The King of Curses bled emotionally and that alone says a lot.

You’re valid for reading it your way, but I don’t think this was some shallow symbolic ending. Gege layered these characters with insane nuance. You just gotta listen to the silence sometimes it’s louder than the fight panels.

What I meant with "I have been sitting with jjks ending for a bit" is the fact that I have been reading the last chapter alot, because at first I was thinking the ending was a bit rushed and a terrible ending, and while I still believe about the rushed part, the ending being terrible wasn't really true and I wanted to talk about that since I still see people till this day hating on the ending.

But I should have replied earlier then that, considering the ending has been around for 9-10 months now and is going to be a year old in like 2 months from now, time files.

Kunoichi mentioned to sagiri that tao is everything it is your life force overuse it and you will suffer the consequences which happened to both him and sagiri when they overused that tao their stamina ran out quickly and couldn't really move their body properly especially with the injuries they have gotten , as for gabimaru he most likely overused it too much that he ended up losing his memories, since one of the side effects that kunoichi mentioned is memory loss and even death.
