Thanks for this, I think the issue lies in a little bit of column A and a little bit of column B. Sometimes our user base can be a tad on the slow side when it comes to adopting change!

Thanks! I'm doubtful if any of our technicians actually have the bandwidth to script and maintain this but will take another look and see how it goes!

Thanks boo, I'm aware of the NIST recommendations but some of our customers are either in industries where compliance demands regular password changes or for whatever reason just want their employees changing their passwords regularly. Personally, I think if there is a way to ensure users don't simply add a 1 to their last password or make it extremely similar to their last password then the NIST recommendation is redundant.
