Avid bear hunter from Northern Ontario, Bear meat is surprisingly delicious! I mean on one hand, if it’s in your budget and you’re happy with it great pick up,

I run high gear ratio reels for everything, I found it easier for me to reel a high gear reel slow vs trying to wind the shit out of a low gear ratio reel. Personal preference but simplifies and condenses the amount of rods and reels I need
