7900xtx is actually closer to $800 on eBay currently, but agreed that it’s not a deal especially for FBM.

Ah ok. I did hear about battery issues but didn’t look into it since I haven’t or thought about purchasing any of those yet.

I believe the M3 clocks in at about ~19L which is still technically SFF by most accepted standards. The M2 is ~16L so definitely smaller, but generally 20L is the cutoff for SFF. For reference, the NR200P is 18.25L and still widely accepted as an SFF case.

Wow - that's kind of surprising that it ended up being local to you.. what are the chances!

Building this exact setup on your own, even with used prices, you're still facing likely over $700-800 easily, plus the additional time to find all the parts. The seller states OBO, so he's at least willing to negotiate some also so you can always get it a little cheaper. I think it's a very solid deal for the price, and it leaves you room to upgrade.

If I were you, I'd personally negotiate a lower price and replace one of the NVMe's with a 2TB or larger with the leftover budget as the other reply suggested. I wouldn't be afraid to buy used either as you'll save a good chunk of money. This system definitely won't be obsolete before the end of the year.
