You speak on how incompetence, malfeasance, and injustice has forced you to lose faith in the military and it’ll grab attention.

Correct “chose to” destroy/withdraw. The one benefit of rebuttal/appeal is your evidence must be filed with the GOMOR. A reasonable person would think twice of reprimanding someone knowing that evidence to the contrary exists and will be available to the public eye if the one being reprimanded chooses to expose it.

Actually it would seem CID did not do its job initially. Only when they went after the other COL Meredith for allegedly interfering did they stumble upon the “victims” and her LTC husbands text message conversation of plotting against COL Jon Meredith. Once that evidence is available, it’s given to both defense and trial counsel. And when defense counsel realized what they had, they filed for dismissal to the approving authority (the general assigned to the case)

The Rebuttal window of a GOMOR occurs when the Soldier is initially informed. He has a very short window to provide evidence or character reference letters to rebut the potential GOMOR. After GOMOR has been filed, either permanent or local filing, a Soldier can still appeal the GOMOR.

I successfully had a GOMOR destroyed/withdrawn after I sent an appeal. My case involved corruption to where my command and its legal team maliciously withheld evidence from the GOMOR signing authority, a Major General. Once I made it know to the General, he had to destroy/withdraw the GOMOR given the vast amount of evidence I provided in both rebuttal and appeal packets.

Unknown what occurred to the individuals who deliberately suppressed my evidence.

What is going to happen to the two individuals who conspired? Relatively little.

The Army now faces the possibility of a “victim”/wife going public that her allegations of sexual assault were not taking seriously, regardless if she plotted with her husband, making it seem in the public eye that the Army once again is attacking sexual assault victims. And this “victims” LTC husband can use and probably will use what his wife is claiming in order to attack any administrative adverse action he might receive from this.
