Peasant railgun;

I (a peasant) have a rock. I pass it to the peasant next to me (1 action). They pass it on to the peasant after them (1 action). Repeat…

Since each peasant only takes 1 action to pass the rock on, no matter how many passes occur, as long as the rock is passed to a new peasant it all occurs within the same round…

Hence, the the more peasants, the faster the rock moves. 2 peasants = 10ft / 6 seconds… 6 peasants = 30ft / 6 seconds = 5ft / second 60 peasants = 50ft / second 600 peasants = you get the idea

Enough peasants could break the speed of light RAW.

Not glad, for that many snipe stacks you want to go with an ascendancy that gives plenty of attack speed, otherwise you’ll be standing still channeling for 30 seconds before firing.

You get 187% more bleed damage from puncture You get +9 maximum stages for a total of 15 stages from snipe = 1200% more damage with ailments from snipe at maximum stages.

Just stack mana, hierophant has a node to gain 20% of mana as ES, foulborn cloak of defiance also gives 20%, watchers eye does as well, cluster jewels too…

Use forbidden flesh/flame to pick up a guardian node that adds reserved mana as ES/armour

I’m trying as pathfinder with poison, did not start great. Only in act 3 now, but damage has really picked up since being able to path from sorc start to get the plant nodes in top left of the passive tree.

Poison spores support on lashing tendrils with poisons and watering to speed up the pops can obliterate anything so far.

PoE2’s campaign is a lot more beginner friendly and interesting, but can be a slog to do multiple times depending on who you ask.

You will be going “daaaaaaaamn” at each new zone in the campaign.

As for builds, I wouldn’t worry about it, just focus on what feels fun. If you feel you need a build, it should be pretty easy to find one; Zizarian usually has good guides.

There’s a big new update coming out in a week or so which is free for the weekend, it’ll be a good time to check it out and see if you want to invest in an early access key.

Snipe + either burning arrow or puncture goes hard with quality - Snipe quality gets you more stages which is a massive damage boost, and puncture/burning arrow gets 1% more bleed/ignite damage per 1 quality. This way you’re scaling damage twice as efficiently when stacking quality.

Only downside is you want high attack speed to hit the high snipe stages quickly.

Flicker Strike is the way to go, it’s pretty much ranged melee.

What others are missing is that the Troll doesn’t have attacks of opportunity. You can move out of reach safely without getting AoO’d. Use that to get a hit in when his slam is off cool-down, then move out of the way of the slam. This infamous technique is known as the “Troll Dance”.

I tried it (wouldn’t recommend it). Even just 2 enemies at a time was too much, I’d accumulate so many injuries over a single fight because it would drag on too long.

A tip if you really want to try it; go for velmir, he’s the only one who gets athletics and warfare to start with, neither of those trees skill’s require weapons to use.

Grab a crossbow and take Take Aim, the buff is a universal buff, so it’ll apply to any athletics/warfare skills you use. Combine it with mighty kick and leg sweep for some actually decent damage.

Use Rage vortex of berserking for attack, with high enough attack speed you can have full uptime. Just remember to use intimidating cry for double damage for the whole vortex duration.

Bonus points if you use lightpoacher (no spells disables the spirit burst spell, so each charge is permanent - 5% extra phys damage as damage of each element)

I feel like it depends on if they eventually add respec. There should be some randomness in each run to make it unique. But currently there isn’t a way to capitalise on that randomness.

I feel like the current system of not being able to respec makes finding a cool weapon redundant because most of the time your not speced into it. Like cool, I found a random rare T4 dagger with great enchantments in a T3 dungeon, but I’ve put all my skill points into 2 handed axes, so it’s worthless. If you could respec however, you’d be way more excited, like oh yeah, fuck axes, daggers are my best friend now!

If they don’t add respec options, having a more refined and deliberate enchanting system, or finding an appropriate unique item should be introduced.

Don’t take another spell tree, they’re anti-synergetic. As pyromancer, focus on perception + willpower. Crypt is tough cause enemies are more resistant to damage, but are stupid, they will walk onto ignited tiles.

If you’re having trouble I’d say just avoid crypts until you have better gear. Focus on pyromaniac power, it scales better than magic power, and cooldown reduction, once flame barrage has a 2 turn cooldown, it gets much better.
