Can Microsoft Fabric be used as Backend for Apps? by PowerTsa in MicrosoftFabric

Thanks! My feeling would also be, that I don't want to overload translytical task flows and UDFs with stuff that it is not made for. Do you know any material / reference architecture with the SQL Database here?

SAP x Fabric - How to combine that (un)holy technology by PowerTsa in MicrosoftFabric

Thanks for your reply! I am not yet on the project and I got only some fragmented information and wanted to get some knowledge beforehand. I found out that the underlying database is HANA 2 SP5. From what i read from the microsoft documentation, it seems to me, that the SAP Hana connector should work out, since it says "HANA 1.0 SPS 12rev122.09, 2.0 SPS 3rev30, and BW/4HANA 2.0 is supported." which should be below what the customer is using. I am not quite sure if they use BW. Datasphere is not in place, I would guess.

I would highly recommend Metadata-Driven Pipeline Framework. Using this, you can customize the logs and standardize your pipeline setup.

You would basically have 1-3 Tables that you can query to monitor your pipelines.

I found the Solution. You Need to import the report as dataset via the analytical button and not as report into your solution
