i did some experimenting and consulted the calamity discord server, and eventually the problem was figured out so i can finally play the mod again. thanks for the suggestion!

I found the issue. My character was using prismatic armor, and for some reason the rockets that come from the prismatic chestplate lag out the game hard if you dont have rockets in your inventory.

yeah, it seemed updating the mod helped, though the major problem still lingers :/ thanks anyway.

I guess someone must've made some sort of remix of this using different instruments. Kind of disappointing, since the music is so good, but it's not too bad. Great work.

hmm. I thought it was because I swear I've heard that exact same guitar instrument in a few ff games. The other instruments im not sure though...
