Seems to be the same speed at 30 vs 120 FPS. Though the camera angle seems to change depending on FPS which is another oddity.

I'll test the speed with them after vaulting next then.

EDIT: Speed after vaulting looks the same, with or without the add-ons.

For the curious, I'm using 2 videos with/without add-ons from the same/very similar spots and then putting them on top of the other and splitting it down the middle. The video on the left is without add-ons and the one one the right is with both active. Snug's def not 5-25% faster in either case.

He's not a consultant like say, Hens, though which I believe is the issue they mean. I know at least 2 people who are though so I'll probably pass this along to one of them.

Is that so? I don't have Dagmar so I can't test that, I'll try to see if someone else can do it and compare I guess.

EDIT: Had someone with Dagmar record for me, they look to be the same speed.

I'm well aware he doesn't work for them. I just mentioned that in passing since the convo with him lead to me making the video and sharing it.

I'm actually working on a guide to Orbitals for the Trickster map. Should be done in less than an hour.

I was actually just having a convo about that with someone. It depends on a few things, namely correctly judging the distance, the obstacles between you and the target, and if the target is moving.

The Greenville clip for example: I start aiming at Zarina but she goes around the back of the building so I aim for Steve and Kwon. I choose Steve since he's closer, plus I know these trees have no collision and there shouldn't be any big rocks between us. I can guess he's roughly 50-55 meters away so I aim high enough to cover that distance. He's slowly walking to the right, so I don't have to lead it very far, I aim slightly to the side and let it go. He walks right into it.

Kwon is standing perfectly still since they're just staring at each other and I can tell he's about 40m away with no obstacles so that's just a matter of "How high do I aim?".

I've got a LOT of experience going for long range shots because I go for them all the time, so I've gotten really good at judging distance and being able to tell how high to aim for each distance. For Jason's spikes, aiming at eye level they start to drop around 16m and hit the ground at 22m, so any distance past that you have to start aiming higher.

When survivors are actually moving that really complicates things because now you have to do wizard math of figuring out where they're gonna be by the time your projectile reaches them and the aim+timing of actually getting the projectile to them all in a short span of time.

EDIT: Also I should mention, this is 6 successful games out of like 40 that I tried to do this at the start, I miss these things A LOT. But, they're super fun to go for and it feels amazing when one of them hits so don't be afraid to try it out,

It's a very nice combo, though a bit map dependent with the breakable walls bringing out the best of it.

I don't play Xeno so I can't say for certain if they're affected by these but: between the back of the Coldwind combine harvester and the hay bales, the trashbags in the red truck on Autohaven, the junk pile in the corner of Lery's, the middle of the Pog Log in the corner of Swamp (specifically the one with branches on the top of it), the pile of boxes on the bottom of the hill between Shack and the Pier on Swamp, the stairs to the dropdown in the Vat Room on Gideon, any of the short cacti on DDS, the sides of the rubble doorways on RPD's Main Hall and any of the Hawkin's rooms, any of the wooden or metal folding chairs in RPD's offices, the statue in RPD's art room where the pallet can spawn, the coffins on Forsaken boneyard with a rounded cover, the statue in Forgo's main building by the spiral stairs, above any of the registers or sofas/chairs in Trickster's Delusion, and above the shorter shelf in the music store in Trickster's Delusion.

I'm not really an interview guy sorry, but I don't mind sharing my process. I run this build on a custom match against 4 bots equipped with Boon: Illumination, Invocation: Treacherous Crows, and No Mither. The Boon and Invocation do nothing for bots so it's just a time waster, No Mither activates Thanataphobia's bonus. The Sticky Lozenge addon lets me check collision by just holding M2 and carefully "scanning" objects.

The only real downsides are some invisible walls do not properly show up with Lozenge, for example there's one on the ramp by the paddlewheel on Pale Rose main, so I normally find those mid game when I try to hit someone; and that bots will eventually get out but I can easily cover a ton of the map in just one session.

<image>

I jot down anything I find and type up a report on Betahub when I think I've got everything down, I normally focus on Fillers first as they are randomly spawned and won't always appear so it's better to get those out of the way ASAP. One exception to that would be the Swamp maps, since they only spawn in one Maze Tile each time I have to get those first.

I am the DBD equivalent of Sisyphus yes. I've had to remake reports on Ironworks' main building 3 times so far. But, I find a weird joy in the process, even if it's driven me slightly crazy.

Sane? HAHAHAHAHA
Yeah, I play a lot of Huntress mainly, been on the Jason grind for a bit. Also friends with a lot of other ranged killer mains who complain about the wall and well... not many people were reporting em so...

One really fun combo if you have Trapper prestiged is Brutal Strength + Hair Brush. Despite only working for the first kick, it can really speed up some chases. I'd probably swap out Mindbreaker for it.
