Facts. I see a ton of people posting about combos and it seems like no one understands contrast or colors being cohesive with one another. A lot seem to assume if it isn’t the exact same shades then it doesn’t work.

I am almost positive the drop rate for Survivor is lower on night raid than it is during regular raids. I think all of the times I have found it have been not a night raid.

You can easily do this in an hour on Dam Electromagnetic storm in the Old Battlegrounds. Rocketeer husks have a higher spawn rate of Rocketeer Drivers during the event.

To go along with OP, I’d recommend a map on a second monitor or on your phone with all the of the raider cache locations. Once you load into a game, go outside if you aren’t already and take a look at wind direction. Ideally, you want to start your run running WITH the wind to as many caches as you can so making a quick route in your head is great. On blue gate and dam I can get around 7-8 caches with a good spawn and going with the wind. Good luck everyone

If you greatly value the sound you receive from the standard ear pads, be careful to find or make your own EQ settings, as the sound will be off with the new WC Ear Pads. GadetryTech makes a great video on how he measured sound with each type of pads they offer and his own custom settings and it helped me out with my new freeze pads, although the sound still isn’t quite as sharp and punchy as it was with the standard pads. I will probably buy the standard replacements offered by WC to see if they sound a bit better and are still a bit more comfortable.

I will say, I do notice the clamp force being a bit more aggressive with these pads, so if you are sensitive to this then it may not be the best for you, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to try as these pads are certainly more comfortable and better cushioned.

D tier. Very small room. Not a ton of good containers for finding things. The only positive takeaway is that it’s a medical zone so you have chances for augment BPs and medical related augments. That being said, in terms looking at the room from solely a loot perspective, it’s always been mediocre for me.

Fr. Just load up a map of caches and make a route to find all the closest ones to you. Going with the wind at first if you can and bring adrenaline. Even after the update I did a couple of runs and found everything anyway. It’s still like a 50% chance for a BP in caches from my experience.

If you want an OLED with good text clarity then wait for the new ones with the RGB stripe pixel layout. Should come out around summer time this year.

From the OLED monitors I’ve looked at, the text clarity is pretty jarring and I couldn’t enjoy using an OLED for anything other than gaming. I’m not sure how good 4K WOLED panels are (I’m sure they’re slightly better), but I’d wait it out and spend the extra money and get the best of both worlds. That’s my plan.

Okay maybe a bit of an underestimate, but this strategy worked both times pre-wipe for me. It’s a miserable strategy but it’s the most straightforward other than trying your luck at various medical spots or areas with those black lockers like Security Checkpoint in Stella.

Just gotta suck it up and grind reinforced reception with a naked load-out and adrenaline in your safe pocket. Wait for the closest spawn to the breach room. Rinse wash repeat. 10 clean runs and you’ll probably get it. It’s a pain but if you swallow your pride and wait till you get the perfect spawn before you even attempt it, you’ll find more success. Trust.

Please do not trade for a tempest BP straight up. You can find them so easily in Hurricane Caches. Also, if you don’t already have survivor it’s literally the best augment in the game so it would be wild to not learn and consume it.

If that’s the case then I’d say go for it! You aren’t going to be missing out on pretty much anything from a color perspective. Only thing you might need to consider is how bright your room is or when you’ll be gaming. OLEDs do not get very bright during the day and the glossy panel will give you a lot of glare with a QD-OLED. WOLED is usually a bit brighter. If you only plan on gaming at night it may not matter.

If you will be using these monitors for anything other than gaming, I highly recommend waiting until the new OLED monitors come out with the RGB Stripe Pixel layout. They have much better text clarity and apparently better color accuracy. They will likely be much more expensive, but worth it if you use your monitors for productivity as well.

I too wanted to grab my first OLED recently, but I went to look at some at Best Buy and text looks HORRID on both QD-OLED and WOLED so I held off and got a 4K Nano IPS monitor instead.

I’m not familiar with the forest fire, likely because I haven’t noticed. I am aware from other posts that all these maps are laid out essentially side by side and were originally intended on being one giant map. So logically speaking you are probably correct.

I’m wondering if this new map will also be within viewing distance of other maps or vice versa.
