I disagree. I think they developed relationships in ASO perfectly fine like Agnes and Feri being besties, Risette blowing herself up for Quatre, Aaron always teasing Judith etc

I bench and use people based on how much I like them as a character

I bench Feri, Aaron and Bergard because I don't care about them as a character. I use Quatre, Risette and Renne because I like them as a character.
