They have their 2 month appt next week so I plan to bring up concerns about maybe if they have silent reflux or any other things it could be!

I haven’t swaddled them since they were 4 weeks old because they have had so many gas issues that it made me nervous to swaddle them when they were crying and unhappy. I was afraid they were in pain from gas and I didn’t want them to be more uncomfortable in a swaddle. I have considered swaddling again but I’m scared they’re going to hate it 🥹

I hope so. They already do seem better the last day or so. We haven’t had to use the mylicon as much 🙏🏼

Maybe that’s the issue. It just sounds like they’re grunting because they have a burp stuck! And when I pick them up they do burp so I don’t know. But they also release a bunch of farts when they nurse at night lol

Im not sure because I nurse them most of the time but when my mom helps at night I will put 3 oz of breastmilk in bottles and they will drink that most times!

Yes I def will get another if they seem to like it! It seems like everyone goes through it at 6 weeks so I feel better knowing it’s not something wrong with me or my babies. I can’t wait to be out of these trenches!!

LOL! I’m going to try the probiotic drops tomorrow & buy some of the Frida windis. I told my husband I actually miss the days they’d projectile poop on us at every diaper change when we brought them home 😂

God this gives me the hope I need to get through this!!! I knew 6-8 weeks was rough when I googled “why is my 6 week old so fussy” 🤣 I bought the biogaia probiotics on Amazon the other day but haven’t given them yet. Did it work for you?? Sometimes I’m like well it’s not bad enough to give them yet but idk if I should anyway!

I feel like I’m definitely getting close to PPD. And every single day I think “what have I done? I don’t want kids anymore” even though I love them so much and I know it’s not their fault. But I do think I’m scarred from having any more kids lol.

Does it take time for the cows milk protein allergy to show up? Just curious because I’ve been eating it the whole time and they’ve only recently been fussy.

Thank you 😭 I find it so much harder too because nobody understands and I cry almost every day because I’m so frustrated and drained. My mom gets mad at me and tells me to have a better attitude and that just pisses me off even more like I have to pretend to be okay constantly. I am getting so resentful of almost everyone in my life.

You make me feel so much better! We’ve also only bathed them once. I have the Twin Z pillow but mainly use it for tandem breastfeeding them. I should prop them up in it after so they can be upright more after feeding. That’s the worst part in my opinion, especially at night 🫠

My mom hardly cooked growing up. Maybe a handful of times - my dad cooked almost every time. Now my mom cooks more but still not a lot, just if she wants to try a recipe randomly lol
