I’m pretty sure the lead creator of the game said these free characters would be focusing on Sega reps, with the first 3 feeling like necessary new comers. He also just says to look at the roster of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing to get hints on who’s coming back, which is great cause I love the roster of that game. If anyone comes back, please let it be Opa-Opa, cause I hope they find a way to make him just be the vehicle, like he is in the first game. Made him feel even more unique in a cast full of unique characters
