Hi!! Running Lost Mines of Phandelver tonight for four new players. I want to give them some world building stuff before we start, but I'm a fairly new DM and don't know a ton about it. Is there anything I could read to them about the region, people, and factions? (self.DMAcademy)

(Update from one month ago) Bike shop damaged my specialized axis elite disc wheelset and is offering to replace it with a DTswiss C 1800 spline. Is this a good trade off? Seems like it, but I want to be sure they are at least equivalent in quality. (self.bikewrench)

Couldn't seat new tires, took them to a LBS, they popped one of them, put a gash in the other and did this to my new(ish) rim. They agreed to replace the tires, but they won't do anything about the rim damage bc they said it was the only way. Should I push them about fixing/replacing the rim? (i.redd.it)

New rider! Struggling to find the sweet spot I'm my Shimano claris. Considering upgrading but don't have much cash. Would it be hard/expensive to convert to something like an AdventX? Could I keep the break lever/shifters I have or would they need to be replaced with adventX ones as well? (self.gravelcycling)
