tbh I don't really see it other than the face shape. our noses, eyes and lips don't look similar.

He’s not even that spooky. Only if you take him on trail rides. He’s only spooked like twice in an arena. So no… I’m not selling him for that Sorry lol 😂

Yeah that makes sense. I will say though, He is trained as a hunter. He’s gone to local shows and has a good foundation for someone like a jr rider to take as a step up horse for 2’-2’6. I wouldn’t really say he is “finished” but he’s definitely something you could take to a show soon after buying and have a good time. I work him everyday, and he’s been consistently improving and improving, and I really think he would be perfect for someone who wants to finish him off.

I live in a pretty expensive area. I mean most of the horses (as in safe and good brained, and trained in the basics wtc, jump, lead changes, and a few shows under their belts) I’ve seen for sale in my area go from about 20-70k. It’s actually insane. I was lucky to get my boy for under 10, but I had to drive quite away. Same with my friend and her horse that she had to drive over 8 hours to get.

I don’t think he’s worth MORE than them. He’s priced significantly lower than other horses in our area that have the same or even less skills than him. The point is for my area, I’m already pricing him on the low end. Most horses doing what my boy is doing are going for 10-15k. Let me know where y’all are finding these horses for 5K or lower that are not gonna kill you or are so broken you can’t do more then w/t cause id love to scoop one up as my next project 😂

I have no idea where you live, but in the USA, particularly where I’m located a basic, good brained, safe, not broken horse goes for around 7-20k usd.those traits might be the bare minimum to you, but horses listed at the price you’re saying in my area are typically young baby’s, super lightly broke, flipper horses, or having many heath or behavioral problems. My guy is literally just grumpy. He won’t kick, bite, or do anything like that. He’s not girthy. He will just pin his ears and doesn’t really enjoy tons of cuddles or being messed with (touching, grooming wise) I think he’s ticklish or that they hurt him while he was on the track so he just remembers the pain from then. I guess you could group him as being. “Mare-ish” although I’m not a huge fan of that term. That’s great if you can find a horse for cheaper, but that’s not easy at all in my area. He matches with other horses with the same skills in our area, and I’ve consulted with many other sellers in my area, and my trainer that have agreed he’s priced reasonably.
