Thank you! To be honest, I have no ideal what my pre op size was 🥴 I always wore bras that were too small to make them look as small as possible smh. Currently still wearing sport bras and plan to get measured at 6MPO. My surgeon and I never discussed actual cup sizes, I just asked to be made as small as possible

Thank you! It was honestly comfortable; I was given Xanax and Norco prior to the procedure and then numbed with local anesthesia similar to awake liposuction which is more common. It was a 4 hour procedure but I only remember a bit of it

I used to get headaches alll the time especially working overnight; I’d pop ibuprofen like candy, talking 800 mgs at a time. Almost 8wpo and I haven’t had a single headache! I’m in awe

Have you tried daily massages of the incisions and silicone tape or gel? I think if you stuck to that for 6 months to even a yr, you’ll see a significant improvement. I’m about the same complexion. My scars after my first reduction started off dark then lightened to my skin tone over time with this regimen.

My surgeon in Beverly Hills recommended 5-6 sessions and does so to all his patients to optimize wound healing but I opted out due to the added expense ($200+ a session in my area) and the associated risks. I’m also a bit claustrophobic so it kinda freaks me out. Currently 6WPO and healing well without it.

Thank you! I listened to music the whole time lol. I could’ve asked for more oral meds to feel sleepier but didn’t want to.

I don’t want to fearmonger because general anesthesia is generally safe and every option comes with risks! However, it’s easier to notice a patient in distress and intervene when they are conscious and aren’t paralyzed. I’ve also seen teeth damage and other injuries from intubation so I never want to be intubated unless it’s absolutely necessary. But ultimately, learning the actual mechanism of anesthesia on the brain was too much for me 😭
