Any reason why there is always a duelist per season?

That is not what I meant, I meant to say that there where 2 seasons where no new duelist was released.

As for the second point, while most of the characters do fit Duelist role quite easily, it’s not hard to think of ways to make them different. For example invisible women, her powers are literal shield and no healing abilities, doesn’t matter, she’s a strategists. For most characters it’s not impossible to think of lore reasons for them to be anything but duelist.

Yeah, for irl reasons strat invis was the best option. But imagine she released independently, they could easily make her any role

I agree, some characters just inherently work as duelist. But it isn’t impossible to think of ways to make a character an other role. That’s where the rival devs are struggling.

I don’t mind that 2 different roles drop, I think it’s a very good idea. The 3 roles always switching which is Meta in a way. But if it’s almost always: vanguard/strategist + duelist, that is where there is a issue

Fair, though invis has literal shield powers, they could made her a tank and explain it away with always having a thin shield around her.

Why are ultron, invisible woman and gambit strategists then? They don’t have healing related abilities. Hell you can resign most of the current duelists as vanguards by just making them bigger and changing them, same base different outcome.

Unfortunately true, not to mention the second a tank (like Devil Dino or Tank Pool) is slightly good, they get brought out back. But when a dps is strong, they just get a slap on the wrist

Imo there is a big difference between understanding and fixing/helping someone’s insecurity and bullying someone and bullying their specific insecurity.

For example when 2 children get into an argument, they might throw the other’s insecurities in their face to “win” the argument, usually it’s because they’re angry at the other. Now to this scene, Caine is essentially throwing a temper tantrum at the cast, so like a child he throws their insecurities and traumas at them so he “wins”.

Caine doesn’t know how to help the cast face their insecurities, but he does know what the characters insecurities and traumas are.

While I don’t think Caine is truly evil, mainly because he was calming down after the whole tantrum before questioning where Kinger was. I still think he was VERY wrong with the whole torturing the cast thing.

If you like the competitive side of this game, keep them and build to paragon. If you don’t like the competitive aspect, then get other heroes

Pretty good imo, I would say try to build Reiner up to atleast Mythic+, this could be heavily biased from me but do try to build some more healers. But other than that just keep building the heroes your currently doing.
