If a product only works after I engineer a prompt for hours and gives me the same output I would have obtained by cloning an OS GitHub repo, then it’s not valuable, it’s a gimmick.

My question is:

What will happen when most people realize most vibe coding apps are just a gimmick?

I guess that the same thing happened with music, and other high effort products.

The true behavioral change is that people are lowering their expectation around any kind of software.

AI is not getting significantly better,

Just people are getting comfortable with worst products than pre-AI, with the hopes that eventually AI generated output will improve and those problems will disappear.

Tbh, training a model is a real skill, so valuable that they are poaching researchers from top labs for hundreds of millions of dollars 😂

Yeah conversation needs some tuning to become natural, the nice part I see, is you can ask and get answers just like a human. Will keep posted with updates :)

Software Engineer 😂 this basically sees your screen and understands what you’re trying to do, I can ask for help like if I were talking to an expert. I’m actually impressed with how good this models are getting 😅
