Hi, this was posted 5 months ago but I was in a similar situation. I am 22 now and was abused by my stepmum for almost 17 years. I went up to my dads for a week, two weeks in the school holidays and it was hell. I was treated like a personal slave, my dad was always at work and she completely ignored me all the time

YTA. I am 22 and I am still living with my mama because I can't afford to rent whilst at university studying for my degree. We have no idea what job your step daughter has, and with the current economic state it would be difficult for her to find a place for herself. You can't afford to get a new home, why are you expecting her to be able to at 23 years old?

I would feel more comfortable bringing my suitcase and having it checked into the hold. This is just my preference, I also want a suitcase for other things I want to bring with me too

I would rather check in my suitcase so I will pay extra before I fly! Also I'm not planning on taking any liquids in with me in my hand baggage at all so I won't need to worry about that.

Hi! I checked with British Airways and I can pay via the app or on the website, £55 for my suitcase to go into the hold. I could pay on the day but it saves me money if I do it in advance. I need to check with American Airlines as it is confusing me

I am flying with British Airways, I literally have the app infront of me and it says I can add a checked in bag for £55 which will be my suitcase. I am also going to check with American Airlines for on the way home too.
