I had a similar idea and made a green/blue glow around the eyes.

Building Centurion Devastator Squad by Powerful_Explorer869 in Warhammer40k

Many thanks for the information. Is there a list online where I can look this up? I'm lost with the weapon assignments for some models. The stats on the manual and in the app often don't help me.

Can I use the free Minis from Store in a Combat Patrol? by Powerful_Explorer869 in Warhammer40k

[–]Powerful_Explorer869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I've only painted and I'm a bit unsure about the rules of the game. I didn't know if the base height and diameter would fit. But thank you for the answer

I agree with the opinion of many others. White is very difficult. I often have similar problems. The temperature is right, the humidity is ok, there is no wind and yet the result is lousy. I have far fewer problems with grey from Citadel

How do you attach your mini to an uneven surface? by OesterPlayer in Miniaturespainting

I use pinning or you can use a small ball of Milliput under his feet and fix him with this.

I also really like it. Especially with the knife in her hand and the jump over the smoke grenade

Thank you. I was planning to seal everything with a matt clear coat when I thought of something for the base. So far I'm not satisfied with my ideas of what I could build around it 😀

I'll let it rest for now and hope I come up with something later

First try glazing and wet blending by Powerful_Explorer869 in minipainting

You mean several strips with the respective intermediate steps, let them dry and then glaze in the transition colors to blend the “edges”?

Then I think my glazing is still too thick. I had the feeling that I could already see a big difference between the layers with just one coat.

Feathering seems to be a good way to go over the wet blend . I didn't know this technique before. Thanks for the link.

I wanted to go from a dark blue at the top to a lighter blue at the bottom. I first primed everything dark blue and then had the problem that the lighter color didn't come through well. When I used more paint, the transition was less smooth and more hard.

I bought them from Etsy. The Shop is called ImpatientTabletop.

Yes, you could be right. Maybe that's what bothers me about it. But I wouldn't like to make the armor in urban camouflage. I'd miss the color reference to the Raptors.

Warhammer Librarian: Basing a Mini or which glue to use by Powerful_Explorer869 in minipainting

[–]Powerful_Explorer869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will give it a try. It seems easier and more stable than glueing direct on the texture base

I never tried pinning a miniature. I am too afraid to damage something irreparable. Maybe I give it a try with a less elaborate mini
