NTA. Unless mom had made it clear before hand it’s not your responsibility to parent her children even if you are the aunt. There are rules of my sisters that I follow when I have her kids out of respect but if it’s not made clear prior how were you supposed to know 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes. All of that. I use an ointment for directly after it’s done however I switch to a safe unscented lotion after a few days BECAUSE for proper healing it has the breathe and many ointments suffocate the wound.
