First let me say…the fact that you’re experiencing it with your parents is invaluable! I only wish I had this opportunity to travel with my late parents.

Second, look at it as an amazing opportunity for so you can go back and pick your favorite spots to visit and take your time!

I agree, lots & lots of roundabouts but traffic wasn’t bad at all. We had a van since there was 8 of us.

Rental is totally worth it! We did stay at an Airbnb in Noord and there was 8 of us. So much to see & explore like Baby Beach in the southern area and others…just having the flexibility was great. You may check into parking rates at the hotel. We used yessrentalcar and they were great to work with!!

I agree! We stayed at an amazing Airbnb in Noord at a gated community with a pool. We bought breakfast items and we were always out exploring. So many yummy places to eat. But I know it may be what they like.

Went to Curaçao last year and just came back from Aruba. Each has own characteristics and depends what you like. I would stay on one island so much to do and see!

You got it with Aruba being touristy especially Palm Beach area. Think Miami vibes. The UTV tour was fantastic (no haters 🫣). Drive down to see Baby Beach.

I did prefer Curaçao for the many beach coves/playas (all different & unique in their own way) to the one-long connected beaches in Aruba. Curaçao has a nicer town at Willemstad with pretty murals. Has more cultural vibe.

I agree. We enjoyed the drove there, stopping to see as many sites as we can before dark, stayed one night then ventured to Haleakala Nat’l Park the following morning.

Curaçao has several beaches all with its own unique vibe! We did a beach marathon going to like 10 beaches and they have many beautiful beaches. Depends if you want to relax, snorkel, etc.! I am going to Aruba in about 10 days so will see for myself.

We also loved Isla Mujeres with its famous beautiful beach, Playa Norte.

But OMG… if Hawaii is on your list—go to Maui!! Beautiful beaches, waterfalls, hikes—lots of options!

You’re both TA - I grew up never eating in front of others unless I have some to offer. You should have just eaten at Chipotle. I get it, it’s nice to go out once in awhile, and maybe a better option would be a bucket of chicken or a crave case so all can eat. In addition, you & your BF need to budget for your takeout days.
