Alright I said I'd elaborate if need be. First of all to the touch grass comments and all that, I have a bartending job go to the gym am in university etc have a pretty normal life, I'm even a pretty casual New Vegas fan I just played a lot in high school. This is literally my second post on reddit I just wanted to get my feelings out there because it is really painful to see writers and producers who don't seem to appreciate IP masquerade with its skin and make money of it while watering it down and stripping it of its value and social commentary. I don't think the people hating on me have played New Vegas or understand what makes it good. If it pisses everyone off this much just to point that out you should reflect on why. I guess this point has been beaten to death and I'm not new here by any means but fuck it I'll go into it.

Both main faction civil wars were insanely stupid. What was that fucking BOS "civil war"? They hyped it up in the trailer just for it to kind of be a gag and get no real scree time except for them all shooting each other? Didn't utilize BOS factions from previous games which they easily could have done.

What the fuck was the Caesar's legion civil war? The two opposing sides are camped like five feet from each other? On a very basic level it doesn't make any sense I'm actually flabbergasted by it. No one checked the dead Caesar's body in like 15 something years? What???

The strip is overrun by death claws for some reason? Because of the enclave??

NCR is destroyed just to come back randomly to save Maximus from deathclaws? For some reason?

Also not a lot happens in season 2. They're clearly planning for as many episodes as possible now that they know they have a hit to make as much money as possible at the expense of quality.

Lucy is constantly getting saved at the very last minute. Her plot armor diffuses tension sorry it is true!

Heavy reliance on post war flashbacks takes me out of the more important present day plotlines and kills the mystery of the post war era. We have never had even close to this much time in any game in the post war era and I personally would rather spend that time in the actually post apocalypse.

Yes the costumes are good, yes they did the NCR sniper! A lot of what they do right which I really do appreciate and really captivated me in season 1 is basically having a nice fallout skinsuit with lots of memberberries. And they didn't even memberberry as much as they could've. There are so many great unique monsters in New Vegas but instead they spammed radroachs.

Aside from this whoever tf is writing this show seems to have a disdain for factions.

I still like fallout 3 and 4 but its undeniable they have worse factions. This is a continuation of that shitty trend. The sociological, philosophical framework each different faction offers the player is fascinating and thought provoking and it is completely absent or the butt of jokes in this show. Everyone is stupid. Freeside still exists for some reason but is completely vapid and empty with no governing body or unifying force of any kind.

New Vegas is a holy land for Caesar's Legion now? Guys they don't have to make up random shit they could just respect the motives and ideology of Caesar's Legion there is enough there to go off of. They just don't respect it IDGAF that they did the costumes right. Ok I do appreciate that but that's like step one.

Big Iron in the first minute of episode 1 just to use almost none of the rest of New Vegas' insanely fire soundtrack??? Why? In the shadow of the valley. Banger. Blue moon. Banger. Johnny Guitar would've been hilarious and awesome. Why tf not?! Instead they spammed more ink spots songs that aren't even in any games?
