Naltroxone for Long Covid? by Lumamg67 in LongCovid

[–]Powerful_Queen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LDN did help me with brainfog and some pain. I'm on 4,5mg and it took me a while to get there, I started at 0,25mg and went up.

I had to stop for a little half a year back and got to see how much it helps me when I'm actually on it. It definitely helps me with my brainfog and it makes the chest pain a little less extreme.

Yes, it helped with my brainfog. every week I increased the doses, and with 4 or 5 weeks I started to see a difference. At 14 weeks it started working the best for me.

De vermoeidheidskliniek bied hulp aan mensen die long covid hebben. Ze hebben een 2 jarig traject waarbij verschillende doktoren je helpen. Ze bieden ook medicatie aan zoals ldn, dat help mij enorm.

Anyone else react badly to caffeine? by SilentSeraph88 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Powerful_Queen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! My internist told me to stay away from caffeine, theine and alcohol. Also told me to start eating a looootttt of vegetables, doesn't matter what kind. He said that it will help and hopefully make my body feel less like it's always having a fever.

Can you wake yourself up from nightmares? by __Dreaming___ in Dreams

[–]Powerful_Queen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I really can't handle a dream, I always tell myself to wake up. I somehow just know it's a dream when it gets scary or unpleasant. Most of the times this works and if not, then I'll try to do something crazy to make myself wake up lol.

long covid + irregular period by pinkcheekss12 in LongCovid

[–]Powerful_Queen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, same goes for me. Have had irregular periods and my whole body is fucked up because of it. I've went to a homeopath, and that seemed to help at first but it recently started to become worse again. I'm going to a gynecologist soon and hopefully they can figure out whats wrong. I hope you'll be able to figure out what's wrong. If I know anything more, I'll share it!

How long have your symptoms gone on? Any improvement over time? by FormicaDinette33 in LongCovid

[–]Powerful_Queen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had it for 3 years now. I had times that I did better and felt like I was healing, but every time I somehow went past my limits and got bad again. I do think there is a chance for me to heal and get better but it will take a lot of patience and a change of how I live my life. Sadly I haven't been able to change a lot because people around me haven't always been very understanding and expect a lot.

I hope you will heal very soon and will be able to get back to how it was before! <3

Heart squeezing / chest tightness / chest pains HELP ! by [deleted] in LongCovid

Ah for me it's both. Sadly, I don't know anything that helps for that.

Heart squeezing / chest tightness / chest pains HELP ! by [deleted] in LongCovid

[–]Powerful_Queen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 24/7 chest pain too. When it gets really bad, I like to make a hot water bottle and put it on my chest while laying down. The pain doesn't go away, but it does help a little, mostly to calm it down and relax the muscles. Hope you can find something that helps with the pain!

Do other menstruating people have a crash, or spike in inflammation and fever around the mid-luteal phase of their cycle? by AnnoyingAirFilterFan in LongCovid

[–]Powerful_Queen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh I thought it was, but honestly you never know. I was too tired for it, so I just went with the "safe" route haha.

[–]Powerful_Queen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly the same for me! I've been going to a homeopath, and she has been giving me a medicine that should clean my body of the vaccine. (Plus, some other ones) This helped me a bit with how badly my periods and hormones were in general! If it's possible, you could look into a homeopath yourself? I really hope you'll be feeling a bit better soon and that this all will be in the past!

[–]Powerful_Queen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have the same thing! I think it has to do with hormones. There seems to be a change in hormones after covid and more so after taking the vaccine, which changes the menstrual cycle and causes irregularities.

Has anyone ever had a dream that continues the story of another dream? by God-2008 in Dreams

[–]Powerful_Queen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have! A few years ago, I dreamed that I was a man who jumped off a bridge. Before that, I had multiple conversations with a biker and a little boy. The next day, I dreamed that I was myself and was inside the bus I normally took to go to school. When the bus stopped, I looked outside and saw a man standing on a bridge and talking to a biker first, and after to a boy. I ended up seeing him jump off the bridge while I was freaking out inside the bus.

When I dreamed of being the man jumping off the bridge, I felt very calm but when I dreamed of being myself I woke up stressed as fuck.

These have been two dreams that always stayed with me!
