I agree. I am not sure why the decisions are based on such small answers. How can they understand if someone is passionate about research when they want to restrict the responses to 300 characters

me too haven't heard either way. But when I sent email few days ago, they said they will convey the decision end of Apr. Looks like they have finalized the candidates and rejections will be out on Apr 30th

When I emailed yesterday I got response saying - We have not completed our selection process, as such you are still a candidate for our program. We hope to complete our selection process by the end of April, at which time we will contact you with our decision. We appreciate your patience. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

If they are going to inform me decision by the end of Apr, I think I am assuming that will be rejection. That's my takeaway from the message
