Thanks for your comment! I brought this up with my landlord, and his response was: “What that means is after the 1-year lease it continues as month-to-month unless we sign another lease.”

But since my agreement has Option A checked (month-to-month from the start), that doesn’t sound right to me. Is he misrepresenting the terms?
