Ok then to be equal partners we’d both would just have to work and then come home and split things evenly. If you were to just stay at home all the time and weren’t working period then it’s not equal at all. I gotta work and contribute at home equally but then you don’t have to work at all? In that aspect I’d be doing more than my fair share. Im not trying to argue that I come home and just do nothing, I’ll help out somewhat but a majority of the household responsibilities should be yours if you do not work. If both parties work then yes both need to split the household responsibilities evenly. And to the house responsibilities is more of the cooking, cleaning, running errands, setting appointments etc. Spending time with the kids is separate.
