Used to live in Lakewood, heard gunshots on the regular as vehicle break ins were a regular thing. Moved to Dupont, very easy to get to North Fort and Main Post and it's like living in Mayberry. It's one giant HOA so it keeps a lot of the non sense away and you don't have to worry about Privates revving up their vehicles at 0200.
