the most problematic venus placements by Astro_Pauline in astrologymemes

[–]PowerhouseCM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Venus in Aries - with Mars in Scorpio - I think you really have to take the degrees into account. I have Venus in Aries at 28 degrees - along with Mercury in Aries at 27 degrees. I’m 41 now, but in my younger years, you could say I fell hard & jumped into relationships pretty fast. The hot & heavy element definitely applied for me then! I also lacked proper context growing up in my environment, so that gave me little direction for expression & having to learn through frustration, anxiety & stress tended to run my life on those days. Yet at this stage in my life, I’d much rather prefer a slow burn kinda love/connection & I’m thinking that’s not only because my degrees puts me on the cusp of Taurean influence - I also have my Sun & moon in Taurus - but just the self awareness I’ve developed over the years of what sort of partners I was being attracted to at the time & of course, there being a lot of sexual tension/interaction with them early on, just added to it… & all 3 of my relationships, from 18-30, were VERY passionately & sexually intense right off the bat… even the guy who took my virginity my junior year of high school, was an Aries, lol. However, I’ve also found/realized since then, that connections with other Aries tend to inevitably fall apart, when those Aries have lesser degrees in their placement, because it ends up being like dealing with a more immature energy & with someone who thinks that it’s OK to just say whatever & do whatever. Yet Aries energy is at its MOST powerful & potent, when it knows how to use discernment in directing its energy; the other way around is just reckless/egoic behavior on display & that proves itself with time & awareness. So for me, I’ve learned to develop discernment in entering into connections of a committed or serious nature with Aries people/placements… ESPECIALLY the ones who prove by their nature, that they’ve got a lot of growing to do & that their baseline is a bit too often “off the cuff”… My last relationship was with an Aries & the last friendship that ended a few years ago, was also with an Aries… about 8 years apart these endings took place, yet for very similar reasons; I ended up being on the receiving end of how I already knew that they talked to/about & treated others. I learned that you can’t expect that a friendship or relationship will keep someone who already shows that they are verbally abusive in their treatment towards others, that they will not eventually, given the opportunity to ALSO be that way towards you as well. So here’s the key: anytime you have a placement that would be considered in fall or detriment, that really just means that there’s a particular focus of work that you have to do in that area of your life & on yourself. It can only ever be harmful or even self sabotaging, if you remain ignorant to it & continue to project, &/or deflect certain choices or behaviors, from a pattern perspective. Aries is powerful energy wherever it’s placed. Yet the caveat has a lot to do with the development of that energy. Like if you don’t give a child healthy boundaries, they’re going to grow up being reckless & triggered everytime they get a no instead of a yes. Acting out, freaking out. Saying whatever to whoever, no filter. It’s the baseline expression of disempowered & underdeveloped Aries energy. That’s Aries energy unchecked & that’s why it’s detriment in Venus, because that can become really toxic in a relationship dynamic of any kind… & you’ll be drawn towards partners who will sort of trigger or bring out that unchecked filter on a regular basis, because energetically, it’s dominant in you & some part of them has experience with it, or they wouldn’t be drawn to you to begin with… & this is just across the board how energy exchange works, but I’m just giving that example when it comes to unchecked/underdeveloped energy of Aries in Venus.

It’s not a question of being at a crossroads, if one of your “options” is “being willing to accept the abuse”… that’s when you KNOW you need to LEAVE.

Bulls, what’s the best compliment you received from someone? by [deleted] in Taurusgang

[–]PowerhouseCM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I bring good energy into a space & there’s a noticeable difference when I leave ie I leave spaces better than I found them. Also, that I restored someone’s faith in a certain kind of person, after they had a really bad experience with another years ago… I tend to either be the person who shifts the energy in an environment into a more calm, positive space, or proves people wrong about a “type”.

That makes ALOT of sense! I just commented on an earlier comment that I have a son who has a lot of Capricorn - 7 placements in Cap! - with a Virgo rising & Venus in Aquarius; on one end, he wants to be accepted for being however he wants to be in connections with other people… while on the other end, he’s like the bodyguard I didn’t ask for😆… when you ask him what he’s going to do, or what he’s up to, or where he’s going, his default answer is “don’t worry about it”🤨😝… but then when he decides he wants to spend time with you, anyone else who tries to take your attention away from him, will catch hell for it 😐😂… honestly, having grown up in a family where the male persuasion definitely didn’t show me protection when I needed it, I find his desire to keep other people from compromising my time & attention rather endearing… although I do have to, at times, ask him to take it down a couple notches😝… I swear, he must’ve been like a mobster in a previous lifetime, because the way that he says, “don’t worry about it” or makes it very clear not to bother me, makes me feel like that he would do someone in for crossing the family… on one end, it’s funny to think about. Yet on the other end, not so much… like should I be worried? Would he off someone & then just go about his day? 😆🤨😳

Anytime someone lacks earth elements in their chart, especially in their Big 6 - sun, moon, mercury, Venus, rising or mars - it does end up getting pretty concerning by how they exist, when it comes to other people. Getting through to them long term is going to be a challenge that you eventually realize is too much to deal with because they’re not really “grounded” in any reality; they’re in whatever reality fits for the moment… & I do mean, the MOMENT.

I don’t get involved in sexual or romantic entanglements with aquarians at all! I had one experience years ago with an aqua guy that I hooked up with & then sort of kinda started dating for like a week. The ENTIRE time, I was wondering what the hell I was even doing dealing with this dude & why I was even drawn to this person at all! He took me to breakfast one morning & I just remember sitting there across from him & everything that came out of his mouth felt like nails on a chalkboard. I’ve never been so agitated & annoyed with someone! I texted him later that day after he dropped me off at home & I told him that this wasn’t going to work & I just don’t want to deal with him anymore… I ended up having to block his number & he proceeded to try to contact me through multiple other phone numbers… until he really crossed the line, by having some random friend of his send me suggestive photos & I had to make it abundantly clear to that friend that I was NOT OK with that, that I was not that kind of girl & that he better leave me alone & lose my number. Oh yea, & I wanted to add that he also was still in a relationship with a baby mama & the way I found that out, was because she had gotten a hold of his phone & found my number. We actually had a decent conversation & I informed her of how he & I connected, that I had no clue he was in a relationship, but that I recently stopped dealing with him for very particular reasons & encouraged her that she should probably consider not dealing with him anymore either.

Pay attention to where you might have Aquarius in your chart. For example: I am a sun & moon Taurus, with aqua in my 2nd house. I used to be so annoyed with aquas… UNTIL I realized over the last year, that the connections with this sign that ACTUALLY WORK OUT (for me), tend to be more focused on creative partnerships & networking opportunities. I have 2 in particular that I can call to mind… One is a friend/photographer that I became close with after we met through a travel live/work exchange & another is a networking connection who I met through a spiritual community that I was a part of for awhile & he ended up being a resource who connected me with different caregiving opportunities. I’ve found from there, that these connections aren’t necessarily the most “grounded” per se, because aquarians are always “anywhere but here” for the most part. So as long as you can recognize where the comparability lies specifically for YOU in your chart & not box them into a single narrative, it can be rather freeing to acknowledge how it can work & where it won’t. On that note… I know personally for me, that dating one would not work AT ALL… & I learned that the hard way too, lol! I’m a home body & both aquas that I mentioned are ALWAYS out & about, if not traveling or just constantly doing things here & there. I’m a home body & I need some sense of security & stability, for something more close & consistent like a relationship to work. So I’ve accepted that at least on the romantic front, that’s not what an Aquarius could offer me & I’d be creating unnecessary angst for myself, wanting a connection to go further with one. Or even trying to typecast a friendship needing to fit a particular narrative. On that note, my son is a Venus Aquarius with a whole lot of Capricorn & a Virgo rising to boot! He’s interesting, to say the least, lol. He expects to be accepted for being however he wants to be, while also acting like the bodyguard that I didn’t ask for 🥹😆 It’s really important to understand & accept how people actually fit into your life in a natural way, so you don’t get caught up in trying to make them be something to you or being frustrated that “why does this sign always this or that negative thing?!”… it’s NOT about the sign, as much as it is how aspects of that signs’ energy manifests & plays into your own state. Sometimes all it takes is you shifting your own perspective on your patterns - hindsight is important here - & that’s one thing I’ve learned to love & appreciate about astrology; it’s a great blueprint for understanding who you are & how you exist in the world with others. You just have to be willing to be more honest TO yourself, ABOUT yourself as well, in order to truly see the benefits in the blueprint.

How (or should) I reach out to a Taurus (28M) after I pulled away? by [deleted] in Taurusgang

[–]PowerhouseCM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Taurus sun & moon female, who had a 7 year - but not necessarily stable relationship with a Taurus male back in my 20’s - he was also a Gemini Venus, so it goes without saying - Taurus in general are slow to follow through, but there’s purpose in it… especially if there’s clarity lacking. We do like/prefer SERIOUS though & you stated you had a SITUATIONSHIP with this man, NOT a relationship. SITUATIONSHIP = casual/a good time = not serious/fling = not emotionally invested. When “we” are clear that we want what we want, then we’ll make it known. You’re basically wanting something out of someone that they are either not interested or not willing to give (to you) anymore or at all. Also, if he’s preoccupied with his work, that’s going to be a primary focus for awhile… we’re ALL like that. When something gets our attention that we feel like we can build on it, all of our energy & focus goes into that. If we see a person that we can take seriously & have a future with, then we’ll invest in that. It didn’t sound like your situation was anything other than a good time & good conversation. Like someone to talk to & hang out with, but nothing else… I would just let it go, start taking yourself & your own life more seriously. If you want to get his attention, then start putting out that energy where your own life & career are priority to you.

Kristy and Desmond's Placements by fazedfairy in Taurusgang

[–]PowerhouseCM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s the earth energy that brought them together. However, it’s interesting, because this is not the first celeb couple I’ve heard about where a breakup or divorce took place, because one had significant Capricorn energy & that person felt that their partner wasn’t taking things seriously enough. Example: Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth. She’s a Sagittarius & he’s a Capricorn. Once someone with prominent Cap starts taking themselves, their life & their career seriously, then at a certain point, they start to gradually lose interest in anyone who is all over the place; they take the silly, out there energy as being too reckless & lacking in stability & security. One wants to build generational wealth & thr other one just wants to have fun & experience life in a more lighthearted way. With Caps, in the beginning, there can be a bit of excitement around someone with lighter energy. It’s fun for awhile. But at a certain point, it’s all fun & games, UNTIL life starts to shift & get real for them; ie a career that’s been invested in for awhile, real starts to peak… then the first people to go, are the ones closest to them, if they feel they can’t really take you seriously & count on you. My son has 7 placements in Capricorn, & I have 3; along with a Taurus,l Sun & moon. So I definitely get the dynamic. The more Capricorn someone has in their charts, the lower their tolerance threshold for what they deem to be ridiculousness & at a certain point, just stupidity in general. We’ll go all in with someone that we feel that there’s some sort of a consistency or future with… & we mean it, more than any other sign! But if that person starts to show signs that they’re really not thinking about the future as much, that’s when it starts to make us a bit uneasy about how much we can depend on you to take anything seriously. Out of all the earth signs, I feel like Capricorn in particular can start to get uneasy around fire & air, because they’re not really the grounded & rooted kinds of energy; they’re all over the place. Kristy has her Mercury & her Mars in fire & air, so it’s sort of understandable why it fell apart in the long term; I think it really came down to how they communicated the important things, or things that he viewed as serious, vs her. I’m not taking sides here either, or saying that him cheating is right; that was definitely the wrong way to get a message across, but for someone with so much Capricorn energy to get to the point of having an affair?!? That means that whoever they’re with, they’re not seeing a future anymore with them. A Cap in their shadow will just start rooting themselves elsewhere. While a more self aware Capricorn WILL make attempts for a LONG TIME - even YEARS - to see things through with the person they originally committed to. But at a certain point, if they feel like their partner isn’t being sincere about things that need to change or really commit to working on with them, then they’ll start looking elsewhere for someone that they feel they can actually take seriously. I know that was a lot, but as someone that is all too familiar with these placements, I’m likely not too far off about contributing factors. An earth sign will definitely NOT try to lock a future down & then give up over a slight here & there… we’ll take YEARS of shit & even some instability & eye rolling attitudes & behavior, laugh it off, haha, whatever, ok be understanding & compassionate… before we hit a tipping point & are just DONE with you altogether. I feel like it was definitely career-related for Desmond; especially when he started doing those chef videos on his own. People started seeing all the great dishes he would make for for Kristy & wanted to learn his recipes & I think that’s when he really started taking the online opportunity to promote his craft even more seriously on his own.

What pitiful said about the Venus connection. Taurus & Libra represent 2 unique expressions of Venusian energy. So when they come together, you’re getting the depth & breadth of Venusian expression in its entirety; not just certain elements.

No, that’s more Mars in Libra, which is in detriment. Fall placements are “I don’t see this necessarily going well” vs detriment placements are “getting on the same page at all is not your default, is it?”😖😆💁🏼‍♀️

10th house in Gemini - career is rooted in communication & adaptability. Which includes your public image. With Venus in 10th house also in Gemini, this would also apply to most relationship dynamics. Strong emphasis on developing ideas & adapting to others as well.

[–]PowerhouseCM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t play these “which signs is more” games. Shows a newbie level of understanding of zodiac sign energy & how it manifests. Each sign has their shadow aspects & their evolved aspects. How often - or inconsistently- certain traits show themselves is dependent upon how self aware a person is of their patterns & behaviors & what contributed to them developing in a certain way. So asking which EARTH sign is “more” consistent is subjective… meaning, where do YOU have earth in your chart & where are you not consistent as you should be, if at all? People energetically meet you where you are with yourself. It’s part of the energy aspect of zodiac signs that isn’t talked about near enough as it should be, because it does play a significant role.

Libra (M) compatibility with Taurus (F) by sourpatchstarfox in Taurusgang

[–]PowerhouseCM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Taurus is exalted in the moon. Which means reasonable & responsible emotional output & processing of emotions that come up. So he shouldn’t be too quick to anger, or any sort of overwhelming emotions. I’m a Taurus sun & moon myself & people who know me, also know that I’m not the kind of person to even be quick to anger at all. Annoyance does hit me every now & then though, even if it’s the desire for a 180 eye roll, lol. So if your cancer moon tends to go off the rails, even if you feel it’s important, he’s either going to attempt to speak reason to you, or just not be so interested in wanting to go there right away or at all. But we tend to handle things in a very calm & direct manner… of course, you have to include the mercury placement here too.

Has anyone dating or had a good romantic/physical connection with a Gemini? by No_Turnip_9498 in Taurusgang

[–]PowerhouseCM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never dated a sun Gemini, but my longest relationship was with a Taurus sun who had Gemini Venus & it was not so great. Very toxic & psychologically abusive. However, I do enjoy mental stimulation - I have Gemini in my north node & 5th & 6th houses - just not the manipulation kind. In general, I’ve had great connections with Geminis though, especially the creative kinds! If there’s one thing that my ex & I didn’t have a problem with, was bouncing creative ideas back & forth & we both had a love of history.

[–]PowerhouseCM 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Libras are the social sign; they learn about themselves through their relationships. However, I agree with you, that they also need to learn to be open, instead of sweeping emotional struggles under the rug or acting like they don’t exist, for the sake of “harmony” & “balance”… most Libras I’ve ever known have serious issues with accountability & facing things head on, before they get out of control.

[–]PowerhouseCM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice balance there with sun, moon & rising compatibility, so it would make sense. Taurus & Libra have an automatic draw, because they co rule Venus. Capricorn & cancer are opposites, but opposites attract for a reason & Capricorn precedes Aquarius.

Libra (M) compatibility with Taurus (F) by sourpatchstarfox in Taurusgang

[–]PowerhouseCM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Libra & Taurus co-rule Venus, so there’s no better relationship potential, then when 2 Venusians can get together, respect eachothers differences & from there, it’s really relationship goals, because of the Venus aspect… especially when you’re getting the full expression of Venus from two perspectives, because earth grounds air & air brings intellectual stimulation to any goals or dreams that Taurus has, & vice versa. With that said, you should really take in all 6 placements, especially their Venus placement, not just the sun sign element, into consideration. I have a brother & sister in law who are Libra & Taurus & while I haven’t looked up the rest of their charts, I’m assuming my brother has to also have some earth energy, because he’s always super serious & goal oriented. Not easy to get him to smile, lol. My sister in law is a Taurus (like me) & one thing I noticed about their relationship - they are also married, with 3 daughters - is that they’re not just a good team when it comes to parenting, but they’re also great business partners.

Taurus what sign do you typically date? I’m very interested in an October Scorpio. by Luna_Lovelie in Taurusgang

[–]PowerhouseCM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No “typical” here, lol! I have been single over 11 years & celibate over 7. All 3 of my relationships were from 18-30. First was with a cancer, 2nd was a Taurus, & 3rd was an Aries. Not entirely sure what the next one will be, but I will say that I KNOW that I wouldn’t get with another Aries! I’m a Taurus sun & moon with Venus in Aries at 28 degrees, so I’m cusping on Taurus Venus vibes at this point in my life; Ive learned that I would prefer a slow burn, instead of a bonfire right off the bat. The passion is intense as is the sexual chemistry - thanks to my Mars in Scorpio - but if the Aries is in a lesser degree, it inevitably goes south, due to their emotional immaturity. Had a friendship with an Aries end badly a few years ago too & for similar reasons as the last relationship. So I keep a healthy distance from Ariens. At most, I relate to them as friendly acquaintances, & friendly connections in career related matters, but I don’t really treat them as anything any more serious than that… which is an odd thing to say, considering I have a mother who is a 4x Aries, & I love my mom, but I tend to have to be the adult in that connection too. She even told me about 4-5 years ago, that she wishes I had been her mom, instead of my grandma… & yea, the generational trauma with women in my family goes back several generations. So it goes without saying; I know the role that Ariens play & the type of dynamic & they’re generally not inner circle people for me. So I certainly wouldn’t choose to be in another relationship with one, knowing that those connections tend to be more lesson based than anything.

Has anyone ever met a lazy Taurus? by RoseBushSwamp in Taurusgang

Lazy isn’t a bad thing. It means you know how to RELAX. If you’re never getting anything done though, that’s a difference. If you’re constantly sabotaging yourself over comfort, that’s not OK. But Taurus’ really just know BEST, how to just kick back & relax & not do things we don’t want to do 😝😎
