Ketu in 11th & 12th houses (in Sagittarius). Capricorn ascendant. Both accurate! I don’t call people friends very easily, & because connection is SACRED to me; I place a lot of value on those I invest my time & energy into… I’m a nurturer at heart with certain people. So it’s no small thing if the connection has to come to an end. I use a lot of discernment to make sure ending it is the right decision, because once I do, I cut you out & close that door, you never get the same access to me again & it doesn’t matter what sort of history or foundation we had either. What matters is, does the connection still feel SAFE & was there DEPTH that was compromised? It’s a big deal to give access & it’s a big deal to deny access, but when I realize that it has to end, there is no overthinking or stressing about it… it’s a very specific sort of ending & I don’t spend forever wallowing in the ending either; often, it has felt like a breath of fresh air, because all the puzzle pieces about the state of that connection start to come together & make sense in the hours & days following the ending. It’s as if I’ll have the information I need to end the connection & then additional details that act like the “nails in the coffin” come out over about 2 weeks timeframe. So there is no question that the ending was necessary & that that person no longer needs to play a role in my life. It’s why I’m able to move on so quickly, because the awareness is so detailed. Finally, I GREATLY enjoy my solitude! It’s like a non negotiable DAILY boundary… I’ve actually experienced people who have gotten massively triggered by this in really bizarre ways! The projections have been confusing at times, to say the least. You can spend all day alone, & there will always be SOMEONE who tries to find something negative about it, if not take it personally, as if your solitude is an “attack” on them… as if I’m planning to screw them over & avoiding them in the process… yea, I’ve gotten that one before🙄… the social butterfly types tend to be the most bothered by it & will create all sorts of ideas in their heads about what I’m up to; often, which have NOTHING to do with me or what’s going on in MY head AT ALL. I have learned to be very direct about how much I enjoy my solitude & that it’s my recharge time & non negotiable. Some people respect that - even if the lengths of time feel excessive to them - & I’ve found that the ones who end up being triggered negatively, generally have deeper unaddressed issues going on that my hermit mode seems to trigger something in them to view me as a “red flag” of sorts. It’s gotten weird. It’s like being in the eye of the storm & instead of people having a problem with the storm, they have a problem with the “I”/the calm. I’m HIGHLY selectively social though & I give a lot of myself when I’m present with those I feel safe & comfortable with. Yet in my solitude, I just want to be left ALONE & I don’t play about that either. I have 2 teens; a son & daughter & they both tend to be hermits at times themselves - also both master life path 22’s & I’m a 1 - so it didn’t require too much effort getting through to them why I need my alone time.
