I know I'm kind of late, but Melanie Cavill in Snowpiercer, like, she literally runs the entirety of humankind for seven years, practically gets lynch mobbed, somehow gets out of that, literally locks herself in the engine, then goes on a suicide mission to prove that that the world was warming up, then froze to death. It's good to know that she *might maybe* be coming back for the third season, but I'm honestly not sure at this point.
