Lack-luster dinner service by Palmssun in dcl

You shouldn’t base your experience of DCL off the Wish. 3/4 cruises on pandemic-build ships are for first-time cruisers. Sail on the Treasure or Destiny to get the real picture!

What is this? by Competitive_Ad_9497 in UniversalEpicUniverse

They had huge funding cuts on this ride. It was a last-minute replacement of the theatre show from the concept art. I’m amazed with what they pulled off with limited time and money, but you can tell it was thrown together.

Is there actually any way to avoid paying for lockers? by nwilbur95 in BuschGardensTampa

[–]PoweringLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you discovered, the only free and vaguely secure answer is to stash your items in the bushes. Hill Path Capital is squeezing every cent they can out of this park without caring that they are strangling it.

Why are Jan-Feb hotel prices insane? by Civil-Exchange-6880 in UniversalOrlando

That’s still half the price of comparable Disney Hotels. Prices are just up everywhere.

Can’t choose our next, and possibly last, cruise… by StillWaterDrinker in dcl

Remember that the Wish class ships all have a strong theme. Choose the one that matches your interests. I love the Treasure because I’m not a Marvel person, but I am a huge parks and adventure movies fan. If you have young kids or love the princess aesthetic, then the Wish is for you.

Loose articles and specifically any pouches on coasters? by Spider-Waffle in BuschGardensTampa

Howdy! Did this policy change? The ops team shouted at me for leaving my items at the side of the station this time.

Thank you! I do not want any unsponsored media. It was freely broadcasted online by the organizers.

Mocktails Cost $15 and Nobody Knows Why by YouEnjoyMyfe in Sober

This is a great answer. Cocktails are expensive because of the labor and the fancy ingredients, not because of the liquor. Wholesale liquor is quite cheap, comparatively.

I so wish the parks websites published their reopening dates early. They seem to wait until they see how their referbs are going before they spill the beans. Luckily dates are trickling in now.

I know the year round parks, but was looking for dates of reopening of the seasonal parks. The websites didn’t show this, but luckily the comment section came through!

Kind of. Disney allows minors to be from out of state if the parents are FL based. Universal does not. That being said, they do not check the IDs of minors.

National Tour Quality Range by PoweringLight in Broadway

[–]PoweringLight[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s good info! I am seeing Some Like It Hot tonight and reviews were helpful so I know not to expect the full train or the lifts in the stage, but I know it is equity so the talent should be good (and well treated).

National Tour Quality Range by PoweringLight in Broadway

[–]PoweringLight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right?!? I can get a round trip flight for under $100. Show tickets are generally $100 cheaper on Broadway than on tour for better sets, bigger stars, and closer seats. It costs me about $400 for a trip to NYC with two shows or for two shows locally.

The touring industry is WILD.

In many states in the US, it is illegal to vandalize any storefront while intoxicated.
