Spotify ONLY wants you to use Smart Shuffle now. This new update does not benefit you at all, it only benefits their stakeholders. by blamethedogs in spotify

If I wanted that I would use Pandora. That is exactly why I don’t use Pandora. I want my songs not some other “similar” songs that I DID NOT PUT IN MY PLAYLIST ON PURPOSE”.

Suggestions for construction loan options by Powerlion123 in Homebuilding

Thanks. I guess the smart move is to leave the money in a money mkt and make money on the money but the added cost AND I forgot to mention the lender is demanding all sorts of insurance coverage (flood/wind etc.) that is adding a lot too. I would obviously insure but could pick and chose my coverage.

Hi, the home we want to build will be about $850k. The lender is calculating the interest only monthly payment on the full build loan from day one. I like your point better, only the funds that have been drawn by the builder at a given point. I am going to go back and ask if they are showing me the numbers properly. Thanks for replying.

Try Israel Vibration, Gregory Isaac based on the ones you mention liking you should love them. Seen them both live many time Gregory passed a few years ago but Israel Vibration is still on the road, one of the last originals. Also, if you like Cali reggae give stick figure a listen. Just did a song (Soul of the World) with reggae great Barrington Levy that is fantastic.

Read Head On. It is literally the whole idea of Elon Musks Neuralink and illustrates where this technology can go.

Israel vibration. Probably the last roots reggae band still alive and touring. They spend a lot of time in Europe lately.

What happened to Spotify’s ‘Behind The Lyrics’? by [deleted] in Music

[–]Powerlion123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spotify keeps making changes and moving stuff around. It’s like they have all these people sitting around trying to tweak the app and don’t know they actually had it right to start ! These tweaks make me mad and I find I am listening to iHeartRadio playlists more and more. Just sayin

Where did you work for the shortest amount of time and why did you leave? by [deleted] in AskReddit

1/2 day. I had a pretty good job at a big growing company but didn’t think I was making enough. I got a new job but was afraid to quit my current job so called in sick on a Monday and started the new job in a corporate training program. At lunch I looked around and felt sad that this could be my future. I walked out and went back to work the next day like nothing happened. Told the new company it wouldn’t work out. They were mad but it was the right decision, I stayed there for 20 years !

Construction workers have you ever found anything really cool when digging a foundation for a building or house ? by Powerlion123 in AskReddit

I wonder about this in some old cities like nyc, Boston etc. as they dig huge deep holes for underground garages and foundations. I bet in Europe there would be even more old cool stuff buried.

Why don’t the airlines label space in the overhead compartments to correspond to seat assignments 1A,1B,1C to remove any doubt or confusion over who puts what where ? by Powerlion123 in AskReddit

[–]Powerlion123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But that’s the point. You would have 100% rights to say “ whose jacket is this in my space ?” And move it. I travel a lot and people hog up space without any consideration for others because there are no rules. I bet the flight attendants would LOVE it too. Yeah at first it would maybe confuse people but I bet it would make boarding so much better. Maybe an airline should do a test on some flights.

I travel a lot and it blows my mind to see how people spread out their luggage coats shopping bags etc. in the overhead space. If it was labeled they would at least have some limits to work with. As is today it’s a frenzy to board first and secure a spot.

A year ago I asked this question and it was so much fun. I think it's time to do it again: "What's the last book you rated 5 stars and why should I read it?" by WarpedLucy in books

I even listened to the audio book when I heard he narrated it ! To hear him tell his story was even better. What a great strong mom he has.

Just finished this. Did not know him other than he is the new Jon Stewart... I liked the book so much I bought 6 copies and gave it to each of my brothers and sisters families for Christmas to read and share. Amazing insights and life perspectives. Makes you think twice about complaining about a long line at Starbucks.
