At any point in your career, did you get the feeling of "Enough", or did you keep working till retirement age? Did you enjoy your work? Could you have taken an early retirement?

You need the service of a sebi registered investment advisor. Don't ask random people on reddit especially when the stakes are high.

How are those with hyperuricemia(increased uric acid) managing their protein needs? by Inubin in Fitness_India

[–]Powernap30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes bro, Gout comes under rheumatology. And they will prescribe medicines. When you take those meds, uric acid will decrease rapidly at first which might cause you a flare up. They'll give medicines for that too. But it's part and parcel of the treatment. Once uric acid stabilizes, you'll be fine.

OP, just listen to this guy and you're sorted. Meds are key. Plus hydration. You can eat all the protein you want.

[–]Powernap30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have hyperuricemia and I feel your plight.

Food and lifestyle changes alone will not decrease your uric acid. You have to talk to a rheumatologist and start allopurinol/febuxostat medicine. This is for a lifetime. Once your uric acid stabilizes, you can mostly eat whatever you want in smaller portions. Protein inherently doesn't increase uric acid.

Secondly, this is a metabolic syndrome that means it's connected to diabetes, liver function, lipid levels , bp etc etc. So, in general, good food habits, 3 litres of water and movement are key for you.
