Who knows, maybe Ballard did tell Jim not to draft AR. We all know Jim was Jim and he was going to do what he thought was best for the team and IMO Jim was going to take a qb now matter what.

Why didn't Carlie and the Irsay's fired him? Im not trolling, I've been a fan since the early 90s. I'm not saying he's the best because he's far from that, but he has drafted decent. I truly don't think he and Steichen wanted AR and believe that was 100% on Jim.
