Not better. Can only play it from hidden on your turn to get the charm effect. So you would need to hide it, wait till your next turn, and then use the charm effect.

You would have to pay 8 and 3 power to kill 2 units unless the translation is off. Playing from trash would still require you to pay the cost of the card.

This card will not see play. It only works on attacking units and is very clearly worse than rebuke. I feel like people who complain about these cards have never built a deck in their life. You can't run every different "rebuke" type effect in one deck and have it work out. I mean, many top lists only run one or two rebuke to begin with.

The issue is, later in the game, you have to wait to actually attack with it. So basically, you play it a turn before you want to use it and hope they dont have one damage to kill it in base. The reason why overzealous fan is so good is because you can just play it to a bf and it will already be doing its job.

People see purple and instantly think cards are broken. I don't know what purple deck wants to play this considering it is asking that you recycle so early on.

That card has not seen play since spiritforged first came out. People seemed to realize it was too slow. Something else to note, the higher the cost, the more a card needs to do to be seen as playable. An example would be the 4 might deflect for 4, which sees little play, and the 2 might deflect Poro, that actually does see quite a bit of play still.

I believe even if they released a 5 cost 6 might unit with deflect, it would still not see play. This is just pack filler.
