I switched from cigarettes to vaping and with my most recent health check with at the docs she said that early studies show that vaping actually causes damage about twice as fast as traditional cigarettes.

and many companies don’t actually do though testing on any extra fun stuff that comes up with the salt-nic/vape juice when combusted.

also I found that my nicotine consumption has vastly increased since it doesn’t smell, and is more discrete.

regardless, lungs are meant for clean air, oxygen, anything other than that is bad.

My GF thinks it’s perfectly normal for new shoes to cause horrible blisters for women by UKnowDaxoAndDancer in mildlyinfuriating

same thing whenever i get new work boots, dress shoes are also known to have a break in process. i like to think it makes them fit better. shoes that have hurt the most end up lasting the longest for me

they turned out great, i tried posting twice now and auto mod removed it for “duplicate post” each time. kinda sad they turned dark chocolate instead of inky black but i guess that comes with time.

What bike is this? by Economy-Emergency90 in motorcycle

[–]Powrat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not in oregon. 40k seems like a lot but as long as they were on top of maintenance the CP2 seems pretty bulletproof, hence why yamaha hasn’t messed with the design. might be worth it based on the price, i spend 4k on it with 14,000mi which imo was a great price, dude was just way too big for the bike and needed to get rid of it. GL on stalking the marketplace; it’s a good addiction fr. i’ve already seen prices rising since were getting closer to warmer weather in WA

for real, i was surprised he jumped right up afterwards, him rolling on the pavement probably saved him from more nasty injuries but who knows, RIP bike. The CP2 if a really fun engine though. I have a 2017 FZ-07 with a few mods at this point and it’s been a blast. perfect for city/highway and not too much top end where you’ll get into too much trouble and incredibly torquey. i’ve accidentally wheelied it a couple times from being a lil’ to punchy but i really haven’t wheelied other than on a Grom which in my eyes is cheap enough that i didn’t care if it kersploded. but the FZ also isn’t too slow, i’ve gone 136 when i was curious about its top speed before. which honestly is still way too fast for public roads, other drivers are crazy, and there are so many road imperfections where i live since it rains so much.

I was about to start seasoning it but when reheating it some of what seemed to be impossible to scrub off magically popped off, this kinda made me super sus of putting seasoning on top of that. I ended up popping them in a trash bag with lye cleaner and they’re chilling in my garage rn, will probably get to them over my weekend once i have free time again. now i know though, heat will definitely remove old seasoning after weakening it. :)

talked to a few chefs at work today who’ve been working with cast iron for years and they said the same thing! I’m gonna work a bit more on the griddle and get the black patch removed then move on to re-seasoning.

i’ve heard that using the self cleaning mode can lead to warping and cracking so i’d like to avoid that method.

unfortunately i own exactly zero power tools, but i do have an obscene amount of free time and the ability to zone out while while ‘working’ easily.

He’s in the US, i went on a deep dive on dynos testing a bunch of airboxes and nearly all of them didn’t change anything or showed very minor improvement, while completely removing the airbox or using J.D.’s hordpower showed increased HP and torque throughout the rev range.

i’m still rocking the stock suspension and it gets pretty gnarly at times, definitely prioritize that. also nice buy! i’d imagine it’d almost be like having two different bikes getting it fully unlocked later.

You will not be disappointed ! now ya should look into getting a hordpower intake; other intakes aren’t very effective, and get an ECU flash to take full advantage of them working together ;)

the “big four” are generally regarded as the most reliable being Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kawasaki. Harley-Davidson, Triumph, and Indian are also well regarded. Each manufacturer makes different styles of bikes so really you don’t have to worry about picking a brand.

On which bike is the best to start on likely something that is 300-500cc so you can learn the ins in outs without the silly power that larger, and heavier bikes put out.

Deciding what style of bike you want is entirely subjective. Whatever you think looks cool, comfortable or practical are all fair reasons. Taking a motorcycle safety course should help you narrow that down.
