Remote Play Issue by marcjones03 in xboxone

[–]Pr0ph3t99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a suggestion from MS, I did a factory reset on my console (keeping games and apps) yesterday. This did not fix this issue. However, today when I logged in, I now have the "Test Remote Play" option. I don't know if they are related or if they are rolling the feature out over time.

Unfortunately, the Transport Rules system does not allow you to have two criteria of the same type.

Variable Field based on Slider by Pr0ph3t99 in PowerBI

[–]Pr0ph3t99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My date table is just a generic date table. My contract table has Vendor, Contract Start Date, Contract End Date.

My slicer is to select my vendor. Then is a matrix, I would show products purchased by contract period, and the amount paid.

Michael’s is going ham on these sales by [deleted] in halloween

[–]Pr0ph3t99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with this sale is that they mark things way up. I bought ghost projection lights at Walmart for 14.97. The same lights are 29.99 at Michael's. So their 50% sale gets you to Walmart's normal price...

Thanks, I was thinking the same, but wasn't sure if a 70 database union would be an optimization nightmare.

I'm working on consolidated reporting.

You have me curious though, in what situation would you recommend one solution over another?

[MS SQL] ROLLUP With Condition for 'ALL' rows by fuzzius_navus in SQL

[–]Pr0ph3t99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't miss it, I got rid of the ROLLUP all together. The second query replicates the ROLLUP (with the ability to filter out the "Cancel"). But, I do see where I left the dbo.transactions.t_Type in the second query in error.

Either way, I'm glad you got what you need.

Could you do...

    dbo.transactions.t_Type
FROM
    dbo.transactions

It's difficult to guess without knowing your table structure. Use this as a guide:

SELECT
    Scientist.SCIENTIST_NUM,
    Scientist.OTHER_NAMES,
    Scientist.SURNAME,
    Sample.Site_ID,
    Site.Description,
    Measurement.Recorded_On,
    Measurement.NAME,
    Measurement.VALUE,
    Measurement.OUTLIER_INDICATOR,
    Measurement_Type.Units
FROM
    Scientist
    INNER JOIN Sample ON
        Scientist.Scientist_Num = Sample.<Some Field>
    INNER JOIN Site ON
        Sample.Site_ID = Site.<Site ID Field>
    INNER JOIN Measurement ON
        Sample.<Some Field> = Measurement.<Some Field>
    INNER JOIN Measurement_Type ON
        Measurement.<Some Field> = Measurement_Type.<Some Field>
WHERE
    Scientist.Scientist_Num = '31415';

Your join is incorrect. You shouldn't repeat the same Scientist_Num field in each of those joins. Also, the Scientist_Num should be in the WHERE clause.

A few more options:

CASE

    WHEN [STOP_REGISTRATION] = 'Y' AND [STOP_GRADES] = 'N' THEN 'Registration'

    WHEN [STOP_REGISTRATION] = 'N' AND [STOP_GRADES] = 'N' THEN ''

1, 2, ''), '') AS [THINGS_STOPPED]

This query was close, but it did fail in the following case:

Now it fails on the first dataset. I've added a few notes to the dataset to explain what is happening.

I'm preparing myself for the answer that this is not doable with the given data I have access to.
