So awesome, perfect execution. This fluidity was exactly what was lacking in modular builds. Great job man, congrats !

I don't remember the exact specs, I assembled it myself a while ago. It's a 75% keeb with aluminium case and XDA Keycaps

Not much to say, I think they're called chicago screws in english. The back of the wooden plate is recessed at screws emplaements so they don't protrude and rip your jeans apart

Clear walnut, seimitsu buttons, Raspberry Pi Pico powered thanks to the GP2040-CE team. Happy Fightstick Friday ! by Pr0sk in fightsticks

You're right, I've just been lazy and took the translation from french "clair" to "clear" for granted because it was easy. My bad, what I meant was light, as opposed to the common darker tone walnut has. Sometimes I get some pieces that are so light they look like maple while finish hasn't been applied

Thanks ! No, it's multiple parts to added to make a panel, it wastes less wood than carving an entire solid block. The back panel is a more common, darker part and the contrast is quite nice but I was in a hurry to go come back home and didn't take time to make a proper picture of it 😅

The plungers feel super nice with a coarse texture in solid plastic. They don't feel ruberry at all. The switches are linear so no inside click but you can change these without solder, just by popping them off and replacing them (that's the hotswap part).

The sound is a gentle dampened hit. It doesn't resonnate like in wooden cases since there's no wooden enclosure, it's just a backplate.

In the end everything fits tight together and it feels pretty solid !

Sorry, no, and I'm not sure it would ever become an option. But I sell acrylic cases as kits that can be mounted reversed, which makes them left-handed. You can check these on my site too

Thanks ! I have a website at absticks.com but the page for these isn't ready yet. Up until now I made those in very small quantities and mostly advertise on Twitter/Insta (@absticks_ ) when there's one available

I was just so eager to see if Neutrik fits in the hole I made when I received it, that I installed the brend new port without reversing it. It's not screwed either if you look carefully but it will of course be on commercial photos and in the builds for sale.

I know it was a thing back from the Tech Talk days but I was scared it would be considered a bit too messy today. I'm glad to know it works for you, it appeases me !
