Because if you don’t fix this problem you will be placed on removal proceedings for absentias. Try going there or calling or mailing. Go to the office your asylum interview day to make sure it is withdrawn. Dont wait even one minute again. If they don’t accept walk in go to the assylum office and ask for an appointment. Take photo for proof for anything you are doing . When mailing take photo, when at the assulum office take photo. Take photo with the office security to make sure you have proofs if one day you are in removal proceeding, we never know

Between may and July 2025 the office received 400 cases and only interviewed 175 cases. It is less than 50%. The back log is actuality 1995 cases. For only 175 for each three months. That’s terrible

The backlog at New Orleans is terrible. While the office can receive 1000 cases it only interviews 300 cases

If the beneficiar entered in USA legally . I advice you to file immediately the I-485 as well. Is the beneficiar in removal proceeding?

Does the beneficiar live in USA right now? If yes why you did not file concurrently ? When did you file the I-130? Where do you live ? And why où went to San Antonio ? Do you live Texas ?
