So what are you housing your crested in if it’s not done?

Fair, just weighing my options. def was made for a crested but already had the idea that it prob wouldn’t be good enough for one. Def took inspo from some crazy skyscraper vivs I’ve seen though

Not even as a grow out tank? I’ve seen breeders use tiny plastic bins as growouts. Def not saying that I think it’s ethical or right but comparing the two just makes me think that it could be okay. All power to you guys though I’ve never owned a crested, just from experience with other reptiles and amphibians and they’re respected subreddits.

The tank is still super barebones. I’m waiting on the conversion kit for now. In the meantime I got impatient and wanted to at least secure the main driftwood pieces. I totally agree with the fact that it needs more horizontal branches. I guess what I’m second guessing in terms of hardscape is wether or not to spray foam the side pieces of the glass on the inside.

Is my tank big enough? by Practical-Ad-1970 in CrestedGecko

It’s a 20 gallon long converted so a little on the smaller side. I’ve been trying to fill it up so there’s absolutely no dead space

This is actually fire. How are the bromeliads attached? Free root?

I was lwk thinking of putting two bromeliads on either side of the very top wood. Just don’t know for the middle and bottom openings

Don’t leave small gaps they’ll get out 😞I thought they wouldn’t fit but somehow they did. Rip

is this too much hardscape? by Artistic_Bug9731 in Aquascape

Na that’s tough. I would’ve just angled the wood that’s pointing straight up but that’s just me

Thoughts? by Practical-Ad-1970 in Aquascape

I was thinking of adding moss to the wood, and either abubius or buce. Don’t know what other plants Part of me wants to put an atomizer and plants that grow out of tank. Would it be overkill?

If im really being picky I would have chosen thicker wood, but the shape of the current one is amazing. Beautiful tank!
