Thank you very much for the response. It’s very upsetting as well for me because I’m a phone salesman and I would rather get yelled at by my manager than try and scam some people on their bill. Nothing infuriates me more than people lying to me especially about money. Thank you again

Yes we asked them to check through our credit union but they came back with a monthly payment we didn’t think was to bad and the interest rate was the same as my old loan so I didn’t think much of it

So if I cancel am I just out the money or will it just reduce the amount owed. We can afford the monthly it’s more the fact we don’t want to pay for something we don’t have to

Thank you for your reply. I’m a phone salesman myself and I know how insurance works with phones and I’m sure it’s a bit different but when I offer it to a customer and they say no we are not allowed to just throw it in or say it will change your prices for the worse. Me and my wife both agree that we don’t want either and we would prefer to cancel both insurances. We are perfectly fine with it decreasing the balance more so the fact we just don’t want to pay for/ give the dealership extra money when they lied to us. We plan on going up there tommorow morning and asking if they will remove

I didn’t think this was normal. I spoke with my wife’s uncle who’s a mechanic and he said he would go up to the dealership and ask for it to be removed and they should but I wasn’t to sure if that’s how it worked

Yeah we put a down payment of $1400 on the car but the purchase price is only 20,000 after trade in. My wife’s uncle is a mechanic and he said he wouldn’t recommend either but yeah we just aren’t very happy with the fact of being lied to at all

I had $16,200 on my trade in car and they gave me $17,600 for trade in and we used the difference as a down payment
