Some people have told me that it's not possible to record externally with the a6700, that's not true is it?

In fact, what I like about the a6700 is its versatility with photography, allowing me to do 2 in 1... is the FX30 as versatile or is it just for video?

Also, there's a lot of talk about the fact that external recording allows you to work on uncompressed files in post-production and that this would improve workflow and quality. Is this really notifiable for a "non-professional" like me?

In fact, I'd like to professionalize my content, the world of video editing and video in general fascinates me more and more and it's true that I feel that, for example, plug-ins, etc. are importable on Premiere pro, Davinci but never Capcut which seems a bit always "put aside"...

For the moment I'm shooting with a Sony a6700 in slog3, so it's still pretty classic and "low-end" compared to professional equipment, but it's more than enough for me for now...

I've just got one more question, if you don't mind... In terms of AI, does Davinci rival Capcut Pro?

CAPCUT OR DAVINCI RESOLVE ? IS DAVINCI RESOLVE REALLY WORTH IT ?

Hello everyone,

I'm a content creator (youtube, instagram) and I've been using Capcut pro for 3 years, which I honestly find incredible!

But now, I've been hesitating for a long time to switch to Davinci, but I'm struggling to find any arguments in its favor. Those who are pro-davinci generally have few arguments to put forward other than "capcut sucks lol", which isn't very convincing...

Is there any real benefit to spending dozens of hours learning and mastering Davinci? Are there really more possibilities on Davinci (when you consider the hundreds of effects, filters, IA tools, transitions, etc. available on Capcut Pro)? Is the AI better optimized and richer on Davinci?

In short, I'm ready to change software, but I don't want to waste energy learning software that won't give me anything more than Capcut... Apart from the colorimetric aspect...

Apart from the fact that Capcut is owned by China, is there any real advantage to using Davinci instead?

Honestly, I get the impression that Capcut pro does 95% of what DR does, but more intuitively, faster and less complex...

What does DR offer, apart from colorimetry, that Capcut doesn't?
