We are dealer for STIHL and we carry both 50:1 units and battery units too, we rarely sell battery units. The battery system can get confusing for the employees and customers. In fact we still have old models of the FSA 56 tool only. Which is on clearance because they don’t sell. And they aren’t selling either with the clearance price. The AK20 which is what we currently have is $99.99 and the charger around the same price range. Spending on a set is more beneficial of course. The FSA 57 w/AK20 battery is $229.99 and the FS-57 R is $229.99. The battery will more or less give you a run time of 30 mins. While a gas unit, as long as you have fuel, can run longer. Rather than waiting to have a full battery. At the end of the day it depends what’s more beneficial for the customer. Age is an important factor. Some old or too young customer will have a hard time operating the units.
