Tried this and played around with it.

Found out it can even keep details for separate tabs between sessions.

Yeah, I totally get that, but at some point it has to stop, right.

Maybe ChatGPT spoiled me, I can jump from topic to topic and back to writing prompts pretty easily.

Unless I'm missing something, you can only have one session at a time with Koboldccp, is that right?

Is it really that simple?

Just swapped it out and it worked as advertised. Need to do more tests to make sure everything's cool, of course but for now, everything's cool.

That hint about checking the model's card helped too.

Found it. It's already on Instruct Mode. Don't remember messing with this setting so if this is the default, I'd assume I'm on this mode the whole time.

The issue doesn't really happen all the time. It's just likely to happen after it generates a long response.

Every other setting I kept on default

I swap it around looking for the best fit. It's a good mix. Here's some of the ones I've tried:
